Lots of milestones in life deserve more than a casual brunch and a mimosa. For special events like a birthday, a promotion, an anniversary, or just the simple joy of surviving another chaotic quarter, many ladies would agree that a proper fine dining experience is the only way to commemorate the occasion.

It’s the candlelight, the multi-course storytelling, the outfit you’ve been saving, and a glass of something bubbly—celebrations simply hit different when the setting matches the energy. For the woman who knows her worth and isn’t afraid to treat herself (and her favourite people) to a night that feels genuinely special, Singapore’s fine dining scene has never been more exciting. So we did the digging and gathered the most stunning, soulful, and downright unforgettable fine dining restaurants in Singapore to help with your search for a table worth dressing up for.

1. Restaurant Born

Restaurant Born Fine Dining Singapore

Tucked inside a beautifully preserved 1903 building that once served as a rickshaw depot, Born gives off old-Singapore charm with a seriously glow-up interior with its dramatic arched doorways, soaring glass ceilings, and an ethereal paper art installation that’s basically Pinterest-board goals. This is Chef Zor Tan’s love letter to his own journey, built around nine chapters of his life story: birth, roots, memories, craft, connection, ups and downs, time, growth, and legacy.

Basically, every course on the tasting menu is a mini memoir, blending French finesse with Chinese flavor DNA in a way that feels both elevated and comforting. The ladies who love a concept with substance will literally eat this up as every plate reads like a story, not just a dish. Pair it with their thoughtfully curated drinks list, from boutique wines and rotating sakes to house-made ferments and specialty coffee, and you’ve got a full sensory evening. To sum it up, Born isn’t just about looking pretty on the ‘gram (though it absolutely will) and is for everyone who wants fine dining in Singapore with a side of soul. Come hungry, leave moved.

Prices:

  • 5-course Lunch Menu: $228++
  • Experience Dinner Menu: $288++

Born is going to be very expensive but a memorable experience like this one is priceless. The 8 course menu was delicious, while also being a very unique tasting experience. The chef interconnected his own narrative and experiences into the ideas behind the dishes, making it feel very personal. The texture of the food was also out of this world. It was overall a great experience with the amount of food leaving my girlfriend and I well fed but not too full.

Impressed by the long list of awards achieved by Restaurant Born in Singapore, I decided to give it a go. Based on my experiences, I would conclude that they deserve all exceptional reviews. It serves French-Chinese fusion. It interestingly combines French gastronomy techniques with Chinese and Malaysian flavours. What I like most is its creative storytelling. This definitely elevates my overall dining experience. Go for the kitchen counter seats to watch the chefs at work. It is part of the culinary journey you cannot miss in Singapore!

Ian Wu
Special experience from the moment we walked in. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere with a bustling kitchen full of chefs creating magic. The food was made special by Chef Zor’s Taiwanese influence. We had the mixed non alcoholic pairing (my missus is breastfeeding) and we were very impressed with some of the teas they had in the selection!

Jeremy Tan (JT)
Celebrated our 10 yr wedding anniversary back at the very venue(former Forlino) and was treated to an immaculate dining experience from the people at SP. First greeted by a congratulatory & personally signed card by everyone from SP that warms our hearts to warming our stomachs. 🙂 Food was so so good and our top favorites were the Shizouka King Crab with edamame, Beef and the desserts were da bomb! 2 Star Michelin just hits different, the depth, balance and precision of every dish were bursting in every bite. Service was impeccable as well, staff and Chef were warm and friendly. Amazing dining experience to make it a memorable 10 yr anniversary for us! Thank you Chef Emmanuel and wonderful staff!

We went there to celebrate my son’s birthday. I made a reservation two weeks in advance and I got emails as well as WhatsApp messages to confirm with my booking and my dietary preferences. Everything was just perfect right from our arrival. The staff were professional and very attentive. They talked us through every dish and the food was great with beautiful presentation . We had crab lobsters marrón and fish…. My son had the 4-course meal and it was fantastic. Oh and the breads cheese platter and the chocolates were amazing too. The whole dining experience was great.

Choon Seng Tan
Excellent dinner at Saint Pierre yesterday to celebrate my very good friend’s 55th birthday. Service was impeccable, with Ryan providing great recommendation of the main course and dessert. Having Chef Emmanuel Stroobant prepare and serve the first dish at our table was a really nice touch. A delightful dining experience.

3. NOX – Dine in the Dark

NOX Fine Dining Restaurant Singapore

Okay, this one’s for the girls who want dinner to double as an experience. At NOX, you willingly give up your sight for a night to let your other senses run the show. It starts civil enough: a lounge welcome with custom cocktails or fine wine, plus a little amuse-bouche to warm up your palate. Then it’s showtime.

You’re led into a pitch-black dining room by visually impaired hosts (an intentional, meaningful touch, not a gimmick) who become your eyes for the night. Across three courses and twelve mystery dishes, you’re left to guess every ingredient using touch, smell, and taste alone, which is genuinely such a fun icebreaker for a group outing. Dietary restrictions and allergies are no issue since the chef tailors the mystery menu to you. The best part comes after: you’re brought back to the light to reveal what you actually ate, and compare notes on how many you guessed right. It’s playful, a little vulnerable, and unlike literally anything else on this list, making it perfect for the friend group that’s tired of the same old dinner routine.

Prices:

  • Prix Fixe Dinner: $98++ per person

Highlights:

  • Unique immersive dining experience in complete darkness
  • Guided by professionally trained blind and visually impaired hosts
  • Twelve mystery tasting dishes across three courses
  • Personalised menus available for dietary requirements
  • Signature cocktails, fine wines and post-dinner lounge experience

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at NOX and it was such a great experience from the beginning to the end. The staff were attentive. Pre dinner cocktails were great. The main dining experience was the highlight. Our host, Peter, was very polite and friendly. He could speak 10 languages and talked to me in Vietnamese fluently! Trying to guess the dishes and the wine was fun. We were completely off on a couple of them. A big part of this unique experience is the opportunity to really connect with each other through conversations and senses without any other distractions. All in all we really enjoyed it and would highly recommend everyone to experience at least once. Bonus – we were surprised with a cake for our anniversary at the end. Thank you for making our celebration fun and memorable!

M
Happy I chose this place for my partner’s birthday celebration in the end, warm and attentive staff, great variety of food, serving 12 dishes, 4 appetisers, 4 mains and 4 desserts! Strong recommend to experience at least once and to support the visually handicapped ❤️ shoutout to Peter for serving us in the dark, giving us clear instructions on how to navigate our food, drinks and cutlery on the table, he is wonderful and made our dining in the dark experience smooth and enjoyable. Thank you to the lovely staff for preparing a birthday cake for my husband too! 🙏

Advantours
Our third dining in the dark experience after Paris and KL, not the blind folded ones, but the real dining in the dark room. I’m actually surprised that they opened for Chinese New Year. Anyway, the waiting area is the best so far, the staff were pretty cheerful and nice. 12 dishes for me was too much, I only managed to finish 1 out of 4 desserts. They also had surprise drinks pairing, I took the Moktail and it was pretty refreshing.

4. KOMA

KOMA Fine Dining Restaurant Singapore

KOMA is where Japanese fine dining meets full-blown theatre, and honestly, we’re here for it. You enter through a 20-metre corridor lined with orange arches that channel Kyoto’s iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine before arriving at a lounge serving up creative cocktails and a seriously deep sake list. The main dining room opens into soaring ceilings that somehow keep the noise levels chill even when the place is buzzing.

Menu-wise, expect elevated modern Japanese with standout showstoppers like snow-aged Niigata wagyu, Kaluga Queen Oscietra caviar, and robata-grilled king crab. Go all-in with the KOMA Sushi Omakase (an 11-course affair with two hours of free-flow sake, soju, and beer, Sundays only), or keep it slightly more chill with the 7-course Tasting Menu for a broader flavor range beyond sushi. Weekday lunch sets starting at $58 are a solid entry point too. Fair warning: it’s more “inspired by Japan” than strictly traditional, so purists might raise an eyebrow. Nevertheless, if all you want is a fun, dramatic night out with your girls, KOMA will absolutely deliver and then some.

Prices:

  • KOMA Sushi Omakase: $158
  • KOMA Tasting Menu: $380
  • Signature Lunch Sets:
    • 2-course Menu: $58
    • 3-course Menu: $68

Highlights:

  • Iconic torii-inspired entrance inspired by Kyoto’s Fushimi Inari Shrine
  • Contemporary Japanese cuisine with premium seasonal ingredients
  • Sushi Omakase and seven-course tasting menus
  • Extensive sake, wine and artisanal cocktail selection
  • Excellent weekday lunch sets from $58

Chris Koh
Awesome dining experience! The decor, ambiance and vibe is unbelievable! The service crew were top notched. The staff who took our orders immediately moved us to a bigger table when he realized our table was too small for what we ordered. For appetizers we had the Salmon Pillow and Wagyu Beef Gyoza. The salmon was fresh and beef tender. Both were fantastic. For main we had the May’s special, Australian Tomahawk. The staff was actually shocked when we ordered this (only 2 of us) and we had to assure him that we can finish it (which we did!) It was 1.2kg of tender and perfectly cooked beef! We did not had dessert but we saw the desserts other table ordered were insanely huge!

Marc Singh
came here for my birthday dinner, and it was thoroughly enjoyable! all the items were really good, we wished some of the portions would have been bigger though. the only dish that was a let down was the scallion fried rice, which we felt lacked flavour and was just an odd combination. service here is excellent! staff here are very friendly and gladly explained some of the dishes to us. however, we ordered a couple of cocktails which never arrived, so the staff may have missed out on it, just a small blip in what was a really good experience overall!

Grace Wong
First time visiting this place, after seeing so many good reviews. The atmosphere and ambience was great, is a place suitable for celebration and special occasions. We ordered the 3 course set lunch. Happy with the food, the presentation and quality of the dessert. Presented our Sands Lifestyle membership upon seated, was surprised the restaurant was attentive in checking my birthday month, and was presented with a slice of birthday cake with candle! Thumps up to their staff.

What a beautiful atmosphere along with spectacular views of Marina Bay and the sites surrounding it. The staff are are very professional and attend to all your needs, noticing that we were chilled when entering and being seated, we were offered shalls to put on our shoulders. We decided on the Chef’s Spring tasting menu for a sunset dinner, arrive early to get your choices in before 5:55 and take advantage of the dinner promotion. We all enjoyed our choices and loved everything, the appetizers and meals were all cooked to perfection, followed by dessert for a few of us and 2 complementary trays of small bite options for us all to enjoy. After dinner, we went to the outside area to enjoy the views of Marina Bay and all the surrounding sites. The is a must for a special dinner while in Singapore!

Chunwen Huang
Celebrated my birthday at Vue with my husband, the ambience + view + food + service was amazing. We were given sofa seats side by side so we could appreciate the skyline. Also, their lunch set was value-for-money given the quality of the food. We enjoyed all the dishes ordered (other than the uni risotto which fell a little short of expectations), and will probably be back for more!

Chris Antoniadis
We dined here for one of our honeymoon dinners and it was incredible. The venue, view, food and service was amazing. We had magnificent fresh oysters, octopus so soft that you could slice with a butter knife and the T-Bone steak that was buttery and delicious paired with a red wine jus. There was an honest miscommunication with something and we were actually abit rude to the waitress who i believe was actually the floor manager. Even so, she was extremely patient and understanding. We apologised at the time and apologise sincerely again. She did an amazing job servicing us and went above and beyond, so thank you to her. 5 star service, food & view 🌟

Renae Leith-Manos
One of the best locations in Singapore for super elevated sushi, sashimi and steak. Fish is flown in from Japan, and is amazing. Tuna and salmon are high quality and delicious. Skai bar next door has first class cocktails -all of the typical favourites as well as super creative new mixes. Service at Skai is excellent but the views are the show stoppers. Awesome. There is a private room at the end perfect for a VIP experience with private sushi making section with mirrors to see every detail, a huge fish painted ont he wall and intimate service. Steaks of every description are available and a sommelier is super helpful with wines. Extraordinary location for a super special night out.

Everything from the appetizers down to the desserts were excellent. We were given hearty portions worth of appetizers which all had very unique taste profiles. Although the bread didn’t feel so special, the beef and cheese mixed with corn and the meat pie were very unique and enjoyable. I chose the Argentenian Ribeye and it was cooked very nicely. Every bite was fatty and juicy. The dessert was also amazing. My father who rarely ever eats dessert finished the plate. The atmosphere is wonderful and so is the view. The service is also amazing. I would definitely come back here again.

Up on the 56th floor with a view overlooking Singapores different directions there is an Argentinian restaurant. Great dishes both meat, fish and vegetarian. Their starters are really nice, we shared their Buffalo salad and some other smaller dishes. And then I had chicken that was great. The Hazelnut Praline dessert was delicious! For wines we listened to their sommelier and had great options. It’s a restaurants with many seats, but I would still book before as it’s often full.

Kwan
Great unobstructed views of the eastern side of SG from this restaurant which really makes this place special. Along with excellent service by our dedicated server Winne who made a birthday lunch so enjoyable here. Food wise is good as well, top notch ribeye steak and something like a salmon tartare. The rest were pretty good as well!

8. NAEUM Restaurant

Stephanie Sim
Incredible. Every dish was carefully thought out and so well-executed. My photos do not do them justice. Favourites were the perilla noodle and cute mushroom mandu, the burdock over seasoned rice and defo the white choc truffle dessert. I would come here again and again if only I had the $$$ ….!

Fab Foodie Swede Malin Nordblom
The newly upgraded Michelin-starred NAE:UM serves chef Louis version of dishes looking back at his Korean heritage. But it has influences from his global journey too. Even though contemporary in spirit, each dish remains rooted in Korean flavours, ingredients, and personal memories. This was a beautiful adventure. One of my personal favourites were the Korean buckwheat with white kimchi, chives, and perilla oil dressing layered with a cured tobiko sauce and pickled old cucumber, sweet mountain turnip cut into flower-like petals on top of the noodles. With this the most delicious grilled morel mushroom dumpling I ever had stuffed with a rice cake filled ‘ duckgalbi’ (duck meat patty) and glazed with gochujang.

Had to write one after my 2nd visit to NaeUm – came back here for our friend’s birthday treat. Shoutout to Chef Louise and Millie from the team who made our 2nd visit remains memorable, they made sure we had an amazing time especially with the special dessert treat. I love Naeum because its fine dining but the atmosphere is still pretty casual so we never felt “icky”, pace of the food also is not too slow, and of course the incredible food. Will always come back ! Thanks again Naeum team!

TheGirlCo’s Recommendation

With so many exceptional restaurants on this list, choosing just one really comes down to the kind of occasion you’re celebrating. While every venue delivers an elevated dining experience, each shines for a different reason—whether that’s breathtaking views, artistic storytelling, immersive concepts or outstanding value. Here are our top recommendations depending on the vibe you’re after.

1. If you want the ultimate romantic celebration or anniversary dinner

Our pick: Saint Pierre

Saint Pierre is our top recommendation for couples celebrating life’s biggest milestones. Between its stunning Marina Bay panorama, elegant Michelin-starred cuisine and beautifully refined service, every detail feels thoughtfully curated for a memorable evening. The Grand Opulence tasting menu, complete with premium caviar and exclusive window seating, transforms dinner into an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking to dress up, sip champagne and create core memories together, this is one restaurant that’s well worth the splurge.

2. If you love aesthetic restaurants that are totally Instagram-worthy

Our pick: KOMA

For girls who appreciate gorgeous interiors almost as much as amazing food, KOMA is difficult to beat. The iconic tunnel of vibrant orange arches instantly sets the tone, while the dramatic dining hall provides an equally stunning backdrop for photos. Although the cuisine leans towards contemporary Japanese fusion rather than strict authenticity, the lively atmosphere, creative cocktails and beautifully presented dishes make it an easy favourite for birthdays, girls’ nights and stylish celebrations. It’s the definition of dinner with main-character energy.

3. If you’re looking for a truly unique dining experience

Our pick: NOX – Dine in the Dark

Some restaurants impress with luxurious ingredients, but NOX creates memories through an experience you’ll struggle to find anywhere else. Dining entirely in darkness shifts your attention towards flavours, textures and aromas in a surprisingly eye-opening way, while the visually impaired hosts guide you confidently throughout the evening. Trying to guess each mystery dish alongside your dining companions makes the meal wonderfully interactive, resulting in plenty of laughter and conversation long after the lights come back on. It’s ideal for adventurous foodies who want something genuinely different.

4. If you’re celebrating with family or a larger group

Our pick: FIRE | Argentinian Restaurant

FIRE is an excellent choice when your group loves sharing great food around the table. Its communal tasting menus and premium wood-fired steaks naturally encourage everyone to sample a little of everything, creating a warm, sociable atmosphere that’s perfect for birthdays, family reunions or celebratory dinners with friends. The rooftop setting, generous portions and bold Argentinian flavours ensure nobody leaves disappointed, especially the meat lovers in your group.

Conclusion

Luxury dining is about far more than beautifully plated food. The very best restaurants create moments that linger in your memory, and each destination featured above certainly brings its own memorable personality to the table.

Regardless of the event you’re celebrating, these eight dining destinations are sure to exceed your expectations as they represent some of Singapore’s finest culinary experiences in 2026. Every one of them offers its own unique interpretation of luxury, proving that an exceptional meal can be just as much about the journey as the destination.

If you’re in the mood to explore an even wider variety of cuisines on your next outing, why not check out our guide to the best international buffets in Singapore? It’s the perfect next stop for ladies who love sampling flavours from around the world, all in one delicious sitting.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What is the standard dress code for fine dining in Singapore, given the tropical heat?

Most fine dining establishments enforce a ‘smart casual’ or ‘formal’ dress code. For men, this generally requires long trousers (tailored trousers are best, though dark, non-distressed denim is sometimes accepted), closed-toe shoes (no sandals, flip-flops, or athletic trainers), and a collared shirt or smart jacket. Women typically wear dresses, skirts, or dress trousers with smart footwear. While Singapore’s heat makes light fabrics desirable, dining rooms are heavily air-conditioned, so bringing a blazer, shawl, or cardigan is advisable. Always check the venue’s explicit guidelines beforehand, as failure to comply may result in entry being denied without a deposit refund.

2. What does the ‘++’ on the menu mean, and is tipping expected?

The ‘++’ notation indicates that menu prices are subject to a 10% service charge plus the prevailing Goods and Services Tax (GST), which currently stands at 9%. Compounding these means your final bill will be approximately 19.9% higher than the listed menu prices. Tipping is not customary or expected in Singapore because the 10% service charge is automatically added to cover front-of-house staff. However, if you receive exceptional hospitality, leaving a voluntary cash tip or adding a modest amount to the credit card payment is always appreciated.

3. How far in advance should I book, and are reservation deposits refundable?

Top-tier Michelin-starred or highly sought-after restaurants often release booking slots 30 to 90 days in advance on specific dates or times each month, and these can fill up within minutes. Most fine dining spots require credit card details or a non-refundable deposit ranging from $50 per person to the full cost of the tasting menu upon confirmation. Cancellations made outside the required window (usually 48 to 72 hours in advance) may allow you to reschedule or receive a partial refund, but late cancellations or no-shows almost always forfeit the full deposit.

4. How do corkage fees work in Singapore, and can I bring my own wine?

Most fine dining venues permit bring-your-own-bottle (BYOB) wine, provided the bottle is not already listed on their wine list. Corkage fees typically range from $70 to $150 per 750ml bottle of wine, and higher for spirits or champagne. Many places offer a ‘1-for-1 corkage waiver,’ meaning if you purchase a bottle from their wine list, they will waive the corkage fee for one bottle you brought. It is courteous to inform the restaurant when making your reservation if you intend to bring your own bottles.

5. Is a fine dining lunch menu worth choosing over dinner, and how do they differ?

Lunch is widely considered the most cost-effective way to experience high-end dining in Singapore. Lunch tasting menus are often priced 30% to 50% lower than dinner menus, offering 3 to 5 courses compared to 7 to 10 courses at night. While the dinner menu typically features more luxurious ingredients (such as caviar, truffle, or premium wagyu) and a longer, more elaborate narrative, the quality of cooking, service, and atmosphere during lunch remains identical. Lunch is ideal if you wish to sample a top kitchen’s technique on a more modest budget or tight schedule.

6. How accommodating are fine dining restaurants regarding dietary restrictions and allergies?

High-end establishments are generally accommodating, provided you inform them at least 48 to 72 hours prior to your reservation. Because tasting menus require extensive advance preparation, last-minute requests made on the day of dining may result in modified dishes or an incomplete experience. While pescatarian, vegetarian, and shellfish-free adaptations are common, strictly halal-certified fine dining remains rare due to alcohol usage in cooking and wine pairing programmes; however, many venues can provide pork- and lard-free menus upon request.

7. Are children allowed in fine dining establishments in Singapore?

Policies vary, but many fine dining venues enforce an age restriction, typically permitting only children aged 7 or 10 and above, particularly during dinner service. High-end restaurants rarely offer children’s menus or high chairs, as the dining duration (often 2 to 3 hours) and intimate ambiance are tailored for adults. If you wish to bring younger children, weekend lunch seatings are generally more flexible, but checking the venue’s child policy beforehand is essential.

8. Is solo fine dining common in Singapore, and will I feel out of place?

Solo dining is increasingly popular and warmly welcomed in Singapore’s fine dining scene. Many modern establishments feature counter seating or chef’s tables, which offer front-row views of the kitchen assembly line and direct interaction with the culinary team, making solo diners feel comfortable. When booking, select counter seating if available, as standard table bookings might sometimes carry a minimum party size requirement or minimum spend during peak weekend slots.

9. How long does a fine dining meal take, and what is the policy on arriving late?

A full tasting menu usually spans 2.5 to 3.5 hours for dinner, and 1.5 to 2 hours for lunch. Punctuality is critical; many fine dining restaurants operate on synchronized seatings where all guests in a service wave are served simultaneously. Arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior notice can disrupt the kitchen’s pacing, potentially resulting in skipped courses or a rushed experience. If you are running late, contact the venue immediately.

10. Do private dining rooms require a minimum spend, and how is it calculated?

Yes, booking a private dining room almost always involves a guaranteed minimum spend rather than a separate room rental fee. Minimum spend thresholds generally range from $1,500 to $4,000+ depending on the day of the week, meal period (lunch versus dinner), and room capacity. This threshold can typically be met through food, non-alcoholic beverages, and wine pairings or bottle orders, but service charge and GST are calculated on top of the final total.
