Incredible food and the owners were warm and friendly. The pork knuckle steak, potato salad, sambal and mustard perfectly balanced one another and I cleaned my plate. Also highly recommend trying the Estonian draft beer.

Flavourful oven-baked pork knuckle, chicken leg, portobello, fish and many others for individual palates. Awesome service by lovable couple, Sharon and Damien. Both are friendly and great company to spend your evenings, dining with beer, wine and whiskey, etc at Common Taste.

Best pork schnitzel I’ve had in Singapore! Sausages were cooked perfectly and the gravy and mashed potatoes were delicious. The white asparagus was an absolute delight! Enjoyed their seasonal beer (can’t remember the name) and their berry bliss gin cocktail. Service was great! The lady who took our order was a consummate professional! Great setting, with 3 floors. The first one being a bustling pub and the upper two a little more formal-dining style.

The overall atmosphere here was awesome! This was made possible by the wonderful staff, esp Dennis, who was really welcoming. The food service was fast n food was overall quite good 🙂 super loved the warm pretzel. great tasting beers too .. plus they were one for one! Even got a free dessert as a surprise as me n my bf were celebrating our 3rd yr anniversary.. that took us by surprise. Thank u so much! Appreciate the staff here.
Jin L
It was delicious. I went there because a friend of mine recommended it to me. What impressed me the most was how friendly and nice the staff were. Everyone smiled and made me feel comfortable and relaxed while eating. David👍🏻👍🏻It was a really nice place. The portion is generous. The seasoning is just right. It’s not too salty, which is nice. I didn’t know that the salad came with dressing. If you don’t want it, ask for it when you order. The vegetables were really fresh. My child said that the vegetables were crunchy and fresh and that they went well with sausages and meat. I was so sad that I couldn‘t try a variety of dishes because I was pressed for time. Next time, I want to go and try beer too.

Absolutely love Brauhaus! They have an incredible selection of bottle-conditioned beers from around the world — everything from authentic Belgian Trappist brews to classic German styles and rich English ales. It’s a beer lover’s paradise! The food is equally impressive — hearty, satisfying German fare. Their pork knuckle fried bee hoon is a must-try — a perfect fusion dish that hits all the right notes. Cozy vibe, friendly staff, and great for both casual hangouts and serious beer appreciation. Highly recommended!
Bert Grobben
Wow! Had a great catch-up here with a friend who used to work in Germany, and this transported him back. Lovely warm wooden interior, great life music, and an amazingly wide selection of beers. Let’s do a world tour! Tried the pork knuckle and the sausages, with sauerkraut and potatoes. Amazing sausages, and a fairly ok pork knuckle. I’ll be back here for more.
Sean Aaron Chong
My family and I have been regulars here since I was 15, we always enjoy the live music every Friday and Sat nights but now they do have live music gigs frequently during the week. We love their signature pork knuckle bee Hoon as this is something familiar and yet homely for a Singaporean Chinese Family. Tasty noodles with good wok hei and the meat from the pork knuckles isn’t tough. Pork knuckle and sausage platter is also a must try! My wife ordered their beef goulash, I tried it for the first time. So good too! Lastly if you’re into beers, they have a wide variety of beers from various countries. Personally I would recommend trying the beers from Germany or Belgium as it really fits the theme.

My recent visit to Brotzeit Stanley was a delight, thanks to their superb seasonal white asparagus, which was absolutely delicious. The spears were impressively large, perfectly cooked, and wonderfully sweet – a true taste of spring! I also enjoyed the unique offerings: the Wostok lemonade, a Berlin natural soda, which was refreshingly different, and the Berlin Doner, a dish unique to Brotzeit Stanley. The Doner provided a flavorful and interesting contrast to the asparagus. The attentive service further enhanced the experience. The staff were prompt, friendly, and ensured a smooth and enjoyable dining atmosphere. The delicious seasonal white asparagus, the unique Wostok lemonade and Berlin Doner, combined with the excellent service, make Brotzeit Stanley a highly recommended spot for a memorable meal in Singapore. Don’t miss the asparagus before it’s gone!

Very personalised service by the lady manager. All staff are friendly and proactive. Food was good and we will be back!

Super awesome place! Really amazing decor, comfortable chairs and environment and the staff were super friendly and nice. The food was superb too. Worth every penny. Not someone who will often try German food but this was a pleasant experience. I enjoyed everything that is to offer and everything was seasoned so well! I’m not a mash potatoes person but the potatoes from the chicken cutlet meal was great Overall a nice place to have a good lunch, and would love to see what is there to offer for other platters in the future.

Have it during lunchtime with my colleague. There are set lunch menus with sandwiches, soup, and a drink. Depending on which sandwiches you order, the cheapest set menu is 17.90. My colleague had beef goulash. The food is nice and good with the bread taste like pretzel. While the beef goulash serving is huge, too. If you are hungry, you can buy a pretzel or dessert to compliment your set meal. Overall, it is very good but needs to go before lunchtime. Else, the limited seating might cause you to pack back to the office to eat instead.

This is my second time visiting Park bäckerei, and as always, I am amazed by the sheer quality of the pretzels and brotchen!! Both have the same fluffy interior, and the same smooth, glossy exterior, topped with special salt, making for a most enjoyable experience through it’s delicate blend of flavour ! Words cannot express my amazement and fondness of the quality of the pretzels and brotchen! While it’s other dishes are wonderful, I always find myself returning for the pretzels and brotchen, that have a certain delectable quality!!! I notice there was hardly any reviews for the currywurst, and decided to leave mine, after my experience. The currywurst was thoroughly seasoned, and the curry, true to the bakery’s assertion, had a clear, well-mixed and balanced flavor and texture, that seems home-made/hand-made, which I fully support!! It is always a joy to see handmade and hand-made crafted foods that emanate the passion of their creators! Though it may be on the ‘higher end’, I can assuredly say and praise, that Park bäckerei has immense pride and talent in it’s craft!

Ordered the garlic / cheese and the new product flammkuchen pretzel. Truly a unique balance of the saltiness and the tangy texture. Tried the flammkuchen pretzel, the bacon is super crispy and tasty. Goes very well with the thin slices of onion on top of it. Near the middle knot is chewy and short. Yet for the outmost layer is crispy. Super friendly staff. Lots of selections. Even for sandwiches. Will be definitely willing to try more.

Very favorite German/Austrian/Swiss Restaurant 🇩🇪🇦🇹🇨🇭 Owned by real Austrian and his wife😊 It is my favorite restaurant to meet German speakers for Goethe Institut Singapur Stammtisch. The food and drink here while pricey is absolutely delicious and is offered for the best deal. The only place where I can get good Hofbräuhaus Munich beer on tap and the best Wiener Schnitzel I have ever had. Whether you are a German speaker or not, this restaurant offers the unique specialties of Germany, Austria and Switzerland should have an appetite for them. Truly worth a visit. Klaus and his wife are truly a team so do visit Leopold for the great drinks and food😊
