Great place to grab good Indian food. Taste was authentic and fresh. The restaurant was undergoing renovations and looked really nice and clean. The service was excellent. Will definitely visit again when we’re back in the area.

Tina Rajpal
Most authentic and flavourful North Indian food experience so far in Singapore… no extra spices, oil or colour… only fresh juicy mild aroma and taste. 👌🏻 Best part was that they served everything one by one, so that we could eat and enjoy at leisure and relish the sizzling hot dishes. 🙂

Yi ting na
Love their lamb rack briyani. The briyani was not too oily, flavourful and lamb rack was succulent. Lamb was not gamey at all. Their lassi and dal makhni were very rich in flavour. They have a variety of sauces to complement different dishes which pairs very well. It’s affordable for such quality Indian food. Service crew were very polite and attentive.

Yan Wen Ding
Very happy with our experience today, made extremely special by Muthu (restaurant owner) for his wonderful food recommendations. Service was top tier. We ordered the butter chicken, mutton rogan Josh and broccoli 65 and dessert after! Highly recommended. 🙂

Cyril Dawn
Its a hidden gem near Little India MRT station, the owner is friendly and accommodating and he’ll do some recommendation as I’m not well familiar with Indian cuisine, it add up to the experience. We’ve ordered pani puri, butter chicken, chicken tikka and naan (plain and garlic). They’ll also serve appalam as side. I love the butter chicken, the portion is good for 2 pax and it’s not too oily compare to other Indian restaurant I’ve been. Chicken Tikka was a superb as well, very soft, well spice. 👌👌👌 love it. Also, the pani puri, the other guy (server) teach us the correct way of eating it 😅 (must eat it in one bit 😅 a struggle for a small mouth). Ambiance wise, so so. But the food was really good and the price is very reasonable. We’ve spend around $56 for 2 pax and no service charge.

Gary & Linda
We found this nice restaurant based google reviews so we decided we should provide a review of Aromas restaurant based on our experience. After getting some recommendations from Muthu, the restaurant owner, we decided on Onion Bahji, Chicken Tikka, Chana Masala, Kadai Paneer, Garlic Naan and Mango Lassi drinks. There is also drinking water provided on the table. The overall quality of the food was excellent. The Onion bahji was crispy brown, not greasy and accompanied with a nice and tasty mint chutney and mango chutney. We forgot to take a picture of the Bahji as we were so hungry. The garlic naan was thin, crispy, nicely buttered and just the way we like with some charred spots. The chana masala was very rich and tasty. The kadai paneer was something new to us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Spice levels were perfect. The mango lassi had a great flavour and really added to the enjoyment of our meal. Overall the flavour of all of our meal was excellent. If there was one thing that could have been improved, it would be the chicken tikka. While the flavour was great, it did seem a bit dry. Like we said, it tastes good and it would not stop us from returning for a great meal on a future trip to Singapore. As usual we started eating and didn’t get the greatest pictures. All of the food was eaten when we were done. Delicious!

Santhimathi Rajaram
Was delighted to learn they serve Special Onam Sadhya every Friday for lunch.. Was not disappointed one bit as the food was divine, that I flew a kiss to the chef! 5 stars because there were only 5.. I’d give them more if there was a option. Definitely going back for more soon!

Steph S
The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. Service was good. I found it a bit expensive. I was charged for something I did not order, good thing I checked my bill.😉

Cad Koh
As a Chinese Singaporean, I found the dinner to be extremely delectable. Parking can be done nearby in parallel to those shophouses. It was my first time having a South Indian cuisine, I really have no idea what to order so I kindly requested for recommendations and everything was pleasing to my taste bud. The person who took my order yesterday was really patient as well. Giving my layman description, I’ve ordered meen pollichathu (Marinated spicy boneless fish wrapped in banana leaf), gobi manchurian (fried cauliflower sauteed with special sauce), kozhi porichathu (fried chicken marinated with various spices), porata (its like local roti prata but less oily), fish curry with mango, malabar mutton biriyani, mango lassi (yoghurt drink) and lemon soda. My favourite got to be the gobi manchurian as I have never tasted cauliflower done like this before. Biriyani portion was great for 2 pax sharing or for 1 hungry person, the mutton was yummy as well. Meen Pollichathu needs no explanation as it is one of their best seller and portion is reasonable for their price. The kozhi porchathu was probably my least fav as the chicken felt like its double fried since its a little hard, otherwise the taste is really good. Food were all served within 15mins upon ordering and the temperature was hot (everything is made fresh). Total bill came out to be around ~$87 for 2. I personally think its reasonable as I was extremely full by the end of the dinner and have no stomach for dessert haha. Would definitely being my Kerala colleagues to try their dishes one day.

Food spices was not overwhelming as they imported the spices from their farmland. Light yet hearty, tasteful, explosions of flavours from each dishes were surprising! The manager was knowledgeable about the source of ingredients hence could explain well why their dishes were unique. Well worth it!

We threw my mom a surprise 60th birthday at Yantra today. Absolutely amazing experience. We have been planning it with Senthil and his team for a month now. They have been the most accommodating team ever. Senthil has taken care of us and our event as if it were his own- amazing guy! Food was amazing, every single dish was presented well and a stunner in taste. It’s definitely THE BEST Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. We have been regulars at Yantra for years but the new look of the restaurant is better than it has ever been before- Head Chef Prashant and Chief Chef Pinaki paid great attention to detail to ensure every guest had a wonderful meal. They came out a couple of times even to ensure everything was running smooth. Mixologist Yogesh made a super refreshing off the menu mocktail for us, he was also really nice and very present through the event. 🙂 Last minute requests were handled really well too.

Mel
Amazing food and excellent service. We held a birthday celebration here. Tim was very patient to answer my many questions on the menu. His replies to my emails and texts were very prompt. Tim offered us very good menu recommendations as well as gave accurate suggestions on the portions to order. On the ground, Senthil and team provided exemplary hospitality. There will definitely be a return visit.

Zehra Naz
We shared the meals and they actually serve the portions to each person which is very convenient. All of the recommendations that Priye gave us were amazing: lamb kabab, chicken seekh kabab, and chicken biryani. The food had the right texture—everything was cooked perfectly so that it was soft and not overdone. All the sauces were great with the food. The papad was great too—not overloaded with spices and a nice light texture.

Mrudula Mukundan
We had an amazing experience celebrating 13th birthday of our daughter, and her friends at Awadh at Centerpoint. It was a large group of 20 children so was not easy to manage. A special shout out to staff Roselle , who helped me organise, suggest appropriate quantity and varying dishes and was extremely efficient and patient through out the celebration. A big thanks to Awadh staff and specially Roselle. We will come back again.

Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. What a great way to end 2023 by having dinner here. The restaurant was very accomodating for my father who was wheelchair bound on our holiday they went out of their way to give us an easily accessable table, even assisted in placing my fathers wheelchair comfortably at the table. The manager Kajulu and staff especially Agampreet were way beyond amazing they were very friendly and provided the best level of service possible. Not to mention how amazing the food was. We haven’t had Indian food this good even back home in Sydney. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back here when we come back to Singapore.

Teresa Woolridge
We have used this restaurant three nights in succession-very good food, excellent prices, good beer and wine. On the first evening we had Hariyali Chicken Kebab and the signature dish Shahi Maharaja ‘Special Chicken’ with the usual accompaniments. They serve cold Tiger beer on draught and a refreshing Sauvignon Blanc at very competitive Happy Hour prices. Many locals used this restaurant-a good sign. Says it all that we went back every night of our stay! Beautiful food, brilliant budget!
