Was here for a 933 celebration event. Accessible, good song selection. Good sound in the room. Good service. We were able to eat dinner with drinks while singing. Affordable prices! Teo Heng is always a trustable brand, family friendly, wallet friendly, enjoyable!

Muhammad Hafiq
Great spot for karaoke! The mall isn’t crowded at night since it’s not in a residential area. Service was good, and the equipment is well-maintained. Pricing is also reasonable since it’s based on the room, not per person. The small, air-conditioned room I used had 2 mics and could comfortably fit up to 4 people. Looks like they have a snacks area (you need to pay for it if you want) near the counter. This karaoke spot is also family-friendly. Will definitely patronize their outlets again!

Seamless experience checking in. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless and clean. Brought food and drinks in and had a great time!

Tron Like KTV. The first thing that strikes you about this place is how much effort they put into the decor. It’s very Tron-like, giving it a futuristic cool feeling.
The sound system is great. Not so easy to operate from the tablet but you can scan the QR code and use your own phone. Song selection is the latest and very comprehensive. Room prices are reasonable for each size. They come with fruits and tit bits. Complementary tea was also provided. Overall quite a cool experience.

Thanks Kelvin and team for the great service you have given to our company event. The team was incredibly well-staffed and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. They kept us informed of every important detail throughout the night, which gave us great peace of mind. Their coordination with our food catering vendor and even helping me to see through that we get our last minute video up on their huge LED screen. Reasonable price with a lot choices of songs, surprising that the link can go Youtube videos and even play MV or live videos is a quite nice option. Hoping next time the kitchen can open for the weekdays evening as well, then can stay for a longer time. Will visit again.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

KTV pricing generally falls into two main structures: per-room-per-hour or per-person-packages. The per-room-per-hour model is straightforward, charging a fixed rate for the room regardless of how many people are singing, up to the room’s maximum capacity. This is often seen as the most budget-friendly option for smaller groups.

The rate usually varies depending on the room size (small, medium, large, or VIP) and the time of day, with Happy Hours (typically afternoon/early evening on weekdays) being significantly cheaper than Peak Hours (evenings, Fridays, weekends, and public holidays/eves).

Per-person-packages are more common at certain venues and typically include a set duration (e.g., 2 or 3 hours) and often come with a free drink or soft drink free-flow. These packages can sometimes be cheaper for small groups during off-peak times but can add up for large parties or longer sessions. Always check if the quoted prices are nett (inclusive of service charge and Goods and Services Tax, GST) or subject to additional charges.

While most KTV venues do accept walk-ins, making a reservation is highly recommended, especially if you plan to visit during peak hours (Friday/Saturday evening) or public holidays, or if you require a specific room size (like a large or VIP room).

Weekdays, particularly during daytime or early evenings (Happy Hour), tend to have better availability for walk-ins. For peak slots or large group bookings (10 people or more), it’s best to book at least one week in advance. For special occasions or public holidays, booking two to three weeks ahead is advisable to secure your preferred timing and room type.

KTV song lists in Singapore are typically very extensive and diverse, catering to the country’s multicultural population. You can generally expect a wide selection of songs in:

  • Mandarin Chinese (M-Pop, classic hits, and latest releases).
  • English (E-Pop, Western classics, and recent chart-toppers).
  • Korean (K-Pop).
  • Japanese (J-Pop).
  • Cantonese and Hokkien (for older classics and regional hits).
  • Malay/Indonesian.

Most modern systems are regularly updated with new songs. Some venues may have a greater focus on Asian songs, while others offer a better selection of Western hits, so it can be helpful to check a specific outlet’s song list if you have a particular genre in mind.

Yes, many KTV chains, especially those catering to a mainstream audience, are considered family-friendly. These places welcome people of all ages, including children, and often offer discounted daytime or early evening packages that are popular with families and students.

They focus primarily on the singing experience and may offer non-alcoholic drinks and simple snacks. However, some older or late-night entertainment establishments that also have KTV rooms may have different clientele and operational hours, so it’s always best to choose a venue specifically known for its family-friendly environment if you are bringing children.

Most KTV establishments strictly prohibit outside food and beverages, including outside alcohol. This is a common policy as the sale of food and drinks contributes significantly to their revenue.

They typically offer their own menu of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as light snacks or finger food. A major exception is often made for birthday cakes, which are usually allowed, though you should check with the staff in advance. If you bring your own alcohol, expect to be charged a corkage fee per bottle or can, and these charges can be substantial.

While policies may vary slightly by venue and time of day, the minimum booking duration is typically two hours. Some packages may offer a fixed two- or three-hour block. It is rare to find places that allow booking for just one hour, especially during peak periods. In some cases, if you arrive late and the room is booked for the next customer, your session might be shortened, but you will still be charged for the minimum reserved duration.

“Happy Hour” at KTVs refers to a period, usually the least busy time of the day, where room rental rates or package prices are significantly lower. This is a popular way to enjoy singing at a much more affordable price. Happy Hours typically occur:

  • On Weekdays (Monday to Thursday or Friday).
  • During Daytime Hours, starting from opening time (e.g., 12 pm or 2 pm) and ending in the early evening (e.g., 6 pm or 7 pm).

The exact hours differ for each outlet, so it’s best to check the specific timing when booking.

For KTV venues that are primarily family-friendly entertainment centres, there are generally no restrictions on minors during their operating hours. However, in establishments that also hold a public house or liquor license for late-night operation, there may be restrictions.

Legally, venues are not allowed to sell or serve liquor to anyone under 18. Some outlets may impose a cut-off time (e.g., 10 pm or 11 pm) after which minors may not be allowed to remain on the premises, especially if they operate as a late-night bar or club component. Always verify the outlet’s policy if you plan to bring minors in the late evening.

Like any electronic equipment, technical issues can occur. If the system is faulty, such as a frozen screen, unresponsive controls, or a microphone issue, you should immediately inform the service staff using the in-room call button or phone.

Most established KTVs have technicians or experienced staff on standby to troubleshoot or switch out equipment (like faulty microphones or batteries). They usually aim to resolve the issue quickly. If the problem cannot be fixed and significantly disrupts your session, you may politely request a partial refund or an extension of your singing time, which will be handled at the manager’s discretion.

Beverages and snacks are typically charged à la carte on top of the room rental fee or package price. A service staff member will usually take your order, and the items will be added to your final bill. Some all-inclusive packages may include a free non-alcoholic drink or even free-flow soft drinks, but this is clearly stated when you book.

Alcoholic drinks, cocktails, and certain premium snacks are generally ordered separately. It’s important to note that the prices for drinks and food inside a KTV room are often higher than in regular dining or retail establishments. A detailed receipt will be presented to you at the end of your session for payment.
