This was my 4th visit to this beautiful cafe. The cafe gives a super relaxed vibe. Each and every visit was extremely pleasant, well-serviced and filled with great food, cakes & beverages. I need not elaborate more as they were mostly mentioned in many others’ favourable reviews before me. Many thanks to the Korean Owners and Team for making the mini birthday celebration a memorable one. Sharing a few photos here…

Moi
Nice interior, the owners & staffs are very friendly. As for the food, both mains & desserts are delectable. Lastly, I like the coffee as it’s not acidic. For those who prefers bold coffee, you won’t go wrong here

Marites Tan
This is my first time to visit this restaurant. The service is friendly and fast. The food, chicken chop, salmon and creamy chicken pasta have a serving size that is right. The ingredients are generously used. They even gave a complimentary birthday cake and I am very amazed. The drinks, the iced match latte, tropical orange and pink grapefruit have real fruit flavour. Overall a fantastic experience. I definitely will come back and recommend my friends to this restaurant.

Smoke salmon egg benefit is the best! Definitely need to try. Am expecting some choco lava from this dessert but turns out not at all. Rose coffee average, ordered least sugar but personally I still think it’s too sweet. The ambience is good and food served very fast

Jennifer Tay
Came on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant tables were filled when we arrived, but ambience was still very nice and quiet even with many people. The food we ordered were delicious, especially the chilli crab pasta. My preteen gal, who is usually picky about food, finished the entire plate. The steak was perfectly done medium rare and crab cake was yummy. Service staffs were attentive and polite. Tables were cleared really fast. Outdoor is pet friendly. So it’s great to walk around Fort Canning with dogs. For sure we will be back to try other dishes, or just for the chilli crab pasta and steak!

Smoked Salmon Benedict was great! Wagyu burger was okay. Pets are allowed as long as you stay at the outside dining.

had a birthday dinner celebration on a Monday night! food, atmosphere and service was great!! only problem was that no shuttle service on monday, so we took awhile to find the place 😅 could have entered directly from the flower dome instead of walking from the back door..

Julia J
Had an absolutely wonderful evening with our baby for our anniversary dinner! Staff Celine was soooo attentive to our every need and bonded with us over her new parenthood as well. The ambience was absolutely wonderful – fresh air and a calm atmosphere in an air conditioned environment. While waiting for our food, we took a leisurely walk with our baby in the flower dome. Shoutout to Henry as well for being ever so hospitable in showing us around, and bringing us around in the buggy. We are so impressed by your service! The lamb shoulder was delicious, roasted chicken and pita bread were amazing too. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to come back again!!!

Had a pleasant dinner with my family at this lovely cafe. The service team gave us such a warm welcome, which made us feel right at home. Loved the peaceful vibe with God’s Word, soft Christian instrumental music, and the beautiful floral décor that added such a fresh touch. Our food took about 15 minutes to be served, but it was well worth the wait. Every dish was sumptuous and amazing. Definitely a place we would come back to, conveniently located in the Tampines neighbourhood.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Yes, while these venues are celebrated for their “Instagrammable” aesthetics and actively encourage patrons to capture their experience, there are often unspoken or explicitly stated rules, primarily to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all and to protect the cafe’s commercial interests.
For personal social media content (casual photos and short videos), it is generally permitted as long as you are mindful of other diners and the staff. You should never obstruct walkways, stand on furniture, or use large, intrusive equipment like tripods.

For commercial photography, filming, or elaborate photoshoots (e.g., pre-wedding shoots, fashion product photography, or monetised video content), almost all establishments require prior permission and often involve a substantial booking or venue rental fee. Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) also means that you should be careful not to deliberately capture identifiable images of other patrons or staff without their consent, especially if your content is for commercial purposes. Always check with the staff beforehand to understand their policy on flash, external lighting, and the use of professional gear.

Due to the high cost of maintaining elaborate, fresh floral decor, the premium location often chosen for aesthetic appeal, and the demand for long seating times, a minimum spending requirement per person is not uncommon, especially during peak periods like weekend brunches or public holidays. This is typically implemented to manage table turnover.

In terms of pricing, you can generally expect a slight premium compared to standard neighbourhood cafes. A main dish (e.g., pasta or a brunch item) typically ranges from $18 to $30, while specialty, floral-infused drinks or aesthetic lattes may cost between $7 and $12. Signature high tea sets, which are a popular offering, are often priced around $50 to $70 per pair. It is always best to check the cafe’s latest menu online before your visit to manage your expectations, as prices can fluctuate with ingredients and concepts.

The composition of the floral decor is typically a thoughtful mix to achieve both visual impact and practicality. Most flower-themed cafes utilise:

  1. High-Quality Artificial/Preserved Flowers: Used for large, permanent installations (like ceiling installations or floral arches) that require structural stability and longevity, allowing the cafe to maintain its iconic look consistently regardless of the season.
  2. Fresh Flowers: Used strategically for dining table centrepieces, counter displays, and specific highlight areas, providing the delightful fragrance and vibrant feel of real blooms.

Furthermore, many of the top flower-themed cafes operate as multi-concept venues—a cafe combined with a professional florist. If a venue has an in-house florist, you can often purchase pre-made bouquets, customised floral arrangements, or even the small centrepiece from your table. It is highly recommended to ask a staff member or check the dedicated florist section on-site if you wish to bring a piece of the floral magic home with you.

Absolutely. Making a reservation is highly recommended and often crucial, particularly if you plan to visit on a Saturday or Sunday, during a public holiday, or for a special occasion like Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day.

These cafes are high-demand spots for gatherings, dates, and celebratory outings. Without a reservation, you risk an exceptionally long waiting time, or you may be turned away entirely if the cafe is fully booked. Even for weekday lunch or dinner, booking a slot a few days in advance is advisable. If you are a walk-in, aim for off-peak hours, such as just after opening or late in the afternoon between the lunch and dinner rushes, to secure a table.

The theme extends far beyond the physical decor and often beautifully integrates into the culinary experience. While the core menu might feature familiar cafe staples, expect to find several signature items that align with the floral theme in two main ways:

  1. Aesthetic Presentation: Dishes and drinks are often meticulously plated with edible flowers (such as violas or marigolds), vibrant colours, and sophisticated garnishes to make them highly photogenic.
  2. Flavour Infusion: You will frequently encounter drinks and desserts infused with natural floral essences, such as rose, lavender, chamomile, or osmanthus. Common examples include floral-infused lattes, iced teas, rose-pistachio cakes, or lavender-scented scones, offering a unique sensory experience that matches the beautiful environment.

Whether a flower-themed cafe is pet-friendly depends entirely on its specific location and setup, as well as the landlord’s policy. Due to food hygiene regulations, pets are strictly not allowed in air-conditioned indoor dining areas across Singapore.

However, many garden-style or flower-themed cafes are housed in larger spaces (like colonial bungalows or shophouses) and feature beautiful al-fresco or outdoor patio areas. It is in these designated outdoor spots that pets are often welcome. If bringing a pet is important to your visit, you must always call the cafe beforehand to confirm their exact pet policy, leash rules, and ensure you are prepared to be seated only in the outdoor section.

The “best” time depends on your priority:

Best Natural Lighting (Photos)10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Late Morning)The sun is high and bright, providing excellent, even lighting for interior and food shots. If the cafe features floor-to-ceiling windows, this is when the natural light is most abundant.
Avoid CrowdsJust after opening (e.g., 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM on weekdays) or mid-afternoon (e.g., 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on weekdays). These are typically the quietest periods, offering a more tranquil and intimate dining experience and giving you better chances to take unobstructed photos of the decor.
Romantic AmbienceAfter 7:00 PM (Dinner time)The shift from daylight to soft, warm, interior lighting (often involving fairy lights or gentle spotlights) creates a more intimate and romantic atmosphere, ideal for dates.

Flower-themed cafes can be found in two main types of locations across Singapore, catering to different experiences:

Secluded, Idyllic Locations (Hidden Gems): A significant number are located in quieter areas, such as beautifully restored shophouses, tucked away in peaceful residential neighbourhoods, or set within charming colonial-era buildings with large outdoor spaces. These locations offer a true escape from the urban hustle but may require a short bus ride or taxi journey from the nearest MRT station. Checking the precise location and transportation options beforehand is crucial for a smooth journey.

Central/High-Traffic Locations: Many are strategically placed within major shopping malls or accessible central districts to attract foot traffic and maximise convenience. These are usually easy to reach via public transport but may feel slightly more bustling.

Maintaining fresh flowers in Singapore’s constant heat and humidity is a significant challenge and a primary reason why these concepts command a premium. To keep the fresh blooms vibrant:

  • Temperature Control: The indoor dining areas are always kept at a cool, consistent temperature (usually between 23°C to 25°C), which is essential for prolonging the life of cut flowers.
  • Professional Care: Staff, often trained by the in-house florist, meticulously change the water and re-cut the stems of fresh arrangements daily.
  • Sourcing: Flowers are often imported from colder climates (like the Netherlands, Ecuador, or Kenya) and delivered via refrigerated shipping to minimise environmental stress.

In rare cases, especially if a venue has an exceptionally elaborate or large fresh floral centrepiece that needs a full changeover, they might schedule a maintenance closure or restrict access to a specific area for a few hours. It is always wise to check their social media channels for any last-minute announcements before heading down.

Yes, many flower-themed cafes are highly sought-after for private events due to their naturally beautiful and minimal-effort-required decor. The pre-decorated, romantic setting is perfect for aesthetically-driven celebrations.

Most venues will offer the following options:

  • Partial Bookings: Reserving a specific, semi-private section (e.g., a quiet corner or large table) during regular operating hours for smaller groups (10-20 people).
  • Full Venue Buyout: Renting the entire cafe space for a full evening or afternoon for larger events (up to 50-80 people). This usually requires meeting a high minimum spend on food and beverage or paying a flat rental fee.

Event packages typically include customised menu options, access to the in-house florist for bespoke arrangements, and a dedicated service team. It is best to contact the cafe’s management team directly several months in advance for event quotes and availability.
