Given how tough and demanding work can be these days, escaping the usual office routine with your girls every once in a while is definitely non-negotiable. This could involve late-night chats that spiral into laughter, skincare sessions that turn into mini therapy, or simply having a space where no one’s rushing you out the door. A good chalet in SG lets you experience all these by giving you the freedom and space to unwind, reconnect, and do things your way. For 2026, we’ve rounded up a mix of cosy hideaways and activity-packed stays across the island. Some lean into nature while others bring the fun right to your doorstep, but all of them offer the kind of setting that makes a girls’ retreat feel a little more special.
Note: This list is strictly not in order.

It’s very “we came to relax but somehow ended up doing everything”—and honestly, that’s half the fun.

Booked the Premium Villa 2 for my kid’s birthday. Place was extremely spacious, allowed for activities to take place with multiple guests. Perfect venue for his Dino themed party. Kelly was very helpful throughout the booking process and his staff were very nice and accommodating throughout the 3 days 2 nights we stayed there.

It was a quiet, spacious, nice and cosy chalet. It leaves a different perspective of chalet. It comes with high celing, 3 bed rooms, 2 toilets, kitchen with pots, plates, bowls and cutletry, fridge and a bbq outdoor area. We booked a 1 nite stay during nob-peak period, upon check-in, we were given:
– 4 gym passes

– 1 breafast voucher at Burger King
Check-in time:3pm
Check-out time: 10am
Walked around the chalet, they have almost everything except a minimart.

Ladies who love having lots of options (and let’s be real, who doesn’t) will surely find that D’Resort makes planning ridiculously easy. The Rainforest rooms feel playful and cosy, while the Beach Cove Duplex adds that extra bit of space for bigger groups who need room to sprawl, snack, and gossip without stepping on each other’s toes. While not every room comes with a BBQ pit, the trade-off is the sheer number of activities right outside your door.
From roller skating and karaoke sessions to spontaneous movie nights, there’s always something happening. Plus, being just minutes from Pasir Ris Park means you can still plan a breezy seaside picnic or sunset walk when you want to slow things down. Our stay at D’Resort Downtown East was a pleasant mix of convenience and family-friendly fun. The resort’s biggest advantage was its location: nestled in greenery with easy access to a beach, a mangrove area, and a short ride from the airport — a great escape from the city bustle. The water park (Wild Wild Wet) makes it especially appealing for families and travellers who want both relaxation and entertainment. We booked a room for 4and it was spacious and comfortable The water heater is a bit issue for people who like very hot water for showers

We stayed here with some other family members, including the BBQ area rental. We rented 3 rooms in total. All the rooms are nice and clean. Location is nice for access to Wild Wild Wet water park. Also easy access to the mall next door. In the morning, my wife and I found the gate entry to Pasir Ris park. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at D’Resort Singapore. The room was clean, spacious and offered a beautiful sea view. Anna at the front desk was friendly and helpful making us feel welcome from the start. The surroundings were well kept, lush, green and inviting. The service from all staff was excellent. Highly recommend – we will definitely be back. Hans Pihl

3. Tee Side Chalet Pasir Ris

Tee Side Chalet offers something a little more low-key and under the radar by providing a quiet escape by the coast. Sitting right along Pasir Ris, this spot trades crowds for sea breeze and open space—ideal if your group just wants to slow down and breathe for a bit.
The bungalows are spacious enough for larger gatherings, making them perfect for those “plus one became plus five” kind of trips. Inside, you’ll find everything you need to settle in comfortably, from a functional kitchen to airy communal areas where conversations naturally stretch for hours.
What’s fun here is the mix of laid-back and slightly unexpected activities. You could spend your afternoon grilling at the BBQ pit, then switch things up with prawning, archery, or even pickleball if the group’s feeling competitive. And if you’re in the mood to try something different, the glamping dome tents add a cute twist to the whole experience.

We had a wonderful time over at Tee Side Chalet. The space offered were huge. Able to accommodate big family occasions. With nice, quiet and cozy ambience, all adults and kids had memorable short break. There were also ample space out front for the kids to run about, each unit came with individual bbq pits. The bungalow interior itself was newly renovated, including all toilets. Parking was very convenient, the bungalow had its own sheltered “parking garage”, with additional common space parking for more vehicles. Many activities can be found, including picket ball, kayak, archery, pawning, hopscotch and many more. Much recommended, we don’t find much of such chalets these days. Must try!

Had a great time with my family. Not your usual chalet with crowd all over. I enjoy privacy with my loved ones and we all loved the time we spent. Great space, ambience and management. Definitely coming back again.

Stayed at Teeside Chalet for 1 night to celebrate my son’s birthday in the superior bungalow. For the price? The bungalow is incredibly spacious. It had 4 rooms with 7 single beds and 2 queen-size beds (formed by joining 2 single beds). Check-in was easy with a door pin code. They provided plates and cups but no cutlery, which was fine for us. There were also 2 dining tables with 6 chairs each. The bungalow had a fresh, newly renovated feel with the smell of parquet and new wardrobes. The only problem was that it was too cold at night, and the blanket was a little small. Maybe they can provide thicker blankets. Overall, it was a great experience for the price. Definitely would stay here again in the future and recommend it to my friends. Can refer to the pics. Pictures taken after the celebration.

Beyond the chalet, the surrounding area opens up a different side of Singapore. Think farm visits, nature reserves, and quiet walks where conversations feel a little more meaningful. It’s a refreshing change if your usual meet-ups revolve around malls and cafés.

Had an amazing stay and this place is so totally underrated! The perfect getaway if you’re looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature. Clean rooms, beautiful toilet, and loved the private balcony. Would love it even more if the toilet could be a little more enclosed and private at the top as you can hear your neighbours talking haha. The pillows are also a little uncomfortable as they’re too bulky and high for your neck. Other than that, it’s an amazing place and I would definitely be back here again!

A must come if u want a getaway from city life. Pet friendly. Room is clean and decent. 5 stars toilet with Jacuzzi, rain shower, steam room. Highly recommended for pet lovers, families, couples and individuals. Will definitely visit again.

Kranji Santuary Resort is in a quiet & quaint location which brings you to a different environment from the city life in Singapore. It is Bali-inspired, so it looks wonderful. The staff service is wonderful and deserves a shout out on their own. Patient and helpful staff behind the reception counter and through whatsapp. My family had a wonderful time at Kranji Santuary Resort. It is also one of the few places that allows dogs, which is a bonus as not a lot of places have this service. BBQ pit in the house is a great place for family gathering as well!

5. National Service Resort & Country Club

NSRCC is one of those places that quietly delivers on all fronts. Sitting right by Changi Beach and overlooking a golf course, it gives off a calm, slightly upscale vibe without feeling intimidating. For women who want a local vacay, it works especially well if your group prefers a slower pace that may involve things like morning coffee on the verandah followed by a breezy stroll by the shore.
The chalets themselves are spacious enough for bigger groups, with two-bedroom layouts, full kitchens, and private BBQ pits that make hosting dinner feel effortless. There’s something quite satisfying about cooking together, even if it turns into a chaotic “who forgot the seasoning?” moment.
What adds to the appeal is the mix of facilities included in your stay. Between bowling sessions, pool dips, and casual games at the courts, there’s always something to do when the mood shifts. At the same time, the generous spacing between bungalows keeps things peaceful—no awkward run-ins, no noise battles, just your group enjoying your own little corner.

Overall experience compared to the other chalets that I have been to, this is by far the best because it has an exceptional view. Its not too hot, very windy and definitely very comfortable. I would come back to CSC II again for my next event.

Went there for a Birthday Party. Nice chalet with good facilities. They have a minimart there so it’s easy to get stuff. The swimming pool is nice for adults and kids. The public carpark is 5mins away. You need to park there because there is very limited parking within the premises.

8. House of Melissa Boutique Farmstay

For something a little more unique—borderline storybook vibes—House of Melissa offers an experience that feels worlds away from the usual chalet stay. Set within a restored colonial property, this boutique farmstay blends heritage charm with a slightly whimsical narrative, making it perfect for groups who want something memorable and a bit different.
The space itself feels intimate yet versatile. You can keep things low-key with a quiet, cosy retreat, or go all out with a full celebration using the expansive lawn and indoor areas. It’s also pet-friendly, which instantly makes it more appealing if your group includes four-legged companions.
Without a doubt, the activities are what really elevates the experience. From pizza-making and honeybee encounters to kayaking around the nearby waters, there’s a hands-on, almost “main character energy” feel to the whole stay. It’s less about ticking off a checklist and more about creating moments you’ll actually talk about long after the trip ends.

Such a lovely space, especially if you’re looking for some outdoor time. My family had a brilliant time hanging out with friends here. My young kid went from playing with his friends in the bedroom, to the fun swing in the front yard amongst the roaming chickens while we had a barbecue, to wet play in the backyard with gorgeous sea views, and then tinkering on the piano in the living room. We didn’t stay overnight, but it felt like visiting a friend’s cool home rather than a hotel or typical chalet.
Lloyd Ah Qune
Had an amazing time with family and friends 🧡 What we thought would be a “normal”, typical birthday party ended up being a truly memorable afternoon together. The place was so relaxing, warm – in a fuzzy feeling way (with aircon indoors) and conducive – bonds were formed that would last a lifetime 🥰
Sabrina Ng
Absolutely beautiful, one-of-a-kind stay in Singapore. We really loved the opportunity to get in touch with Mother Nature (low tide exploration, feeding the chickens, exploring the edible garden, eggs spotting, etc etc the list goes on…there’s just so many things to discover). It made me so happy seeing my sons keep on running round and round the place, looking for the chickens, spotting caterpillars and pausing each time we walk past the scorpions just to watch their movements. We had so much fun cooking up our own breakfast too! The staff were very prompt in their responses and it just made the whole experience so wonderful. <3

TheGirlCo’s Recommendation
Not every girls’ trip looks the same, and that’s exactly why picking the right chalet matters. Here are a few standout options depending on the kind of vibe your group is going for:
1. If you want an activity-packed stay where no one gets bored:
Our pick: HomeTeamNS Bedok
If your group thrives on doing everything all at once, this is the one. Between water parks, obstacle courses, and cosy in-villa hangouts, there’s always something happening. It’s perfect for high-energy friend groups who want their trip to feel full without needing to plan every detail.
2. If you’re planning a big, slightly chaotic but fun reunion:
Our pick: Civil Service Club @ Changi II
For larger groups, space becomes everything—and this place delivers. With massive bungalows, beachfront access, and plenty of facilities, it’s ideal for gatherings where people are coming and going, but still want a central place to bond, eat, and catch up properly.
3. If you want something unique and a little more memorable:
Our pick: House of Melissa Boutique Farmstay
This isn’t your typical chalet experience, and that’s exactly the point. From farm-style activities to its charming backstory, it feels more immersive and personal. Great for groups who want something different from the usual BBQ-and-chill routine.
Conclusion
A good girls’ getaway isn’t really about the itinerary but more so about the space that allows everything else to happen naturally. Some groups lean towards beachside relaxation, others prefer activity-filled days, and a few just want somewhere cosy enough to talk for hours without interruption. The chalets on this list each bring something slightly different to the table, making it easier to match your stay to your group’s vibe.
At the end of the day, it’s those small, unplanned moments that tend to stick—the late-night snacks, the random deep conversations, the laughter that comes out of nowhere. If you’re already thinking about your next escape, you might also want to explore the best hotels in Singapore for a more compact, fuss-free staycation option.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need to be a member of a specific club or union to book a chalet?
While many of the most popular chalets are owned by unions or private clubs, several offer “Public” booking rates. However, being a member usually grants you a significant discount and a longer priority booking window—often up to 90 days in advance compared to 30 or 60 days for the general public. If you aren’t a member, it’s worth checking if a close friend or family member is, as they may need to be present during check-in.
2. How far in advance should I book for peak periods like school holidays or long weekends?
For popular periods, you should aim to book the moment the window opens. In Singapore, chalets for December or June holidays are often snapped up within minutes of becoming available online. If you are eye-ing a long weekend, try to log in at midnight on the first day of the booking month to secure your spot.
3. Are BBQ pits included with the room, or do I need to book them separately?
This varies by location. In some bungalow-style chalets, a private pit is permanently attached to the unit. In more modern, apartment-style complexes, you often have to book a specific pit through a separate facility booking system. Always check if there is an additional “pit cleaning fee” or if you are expected to scrub it down yourself afterward.
4. Is there a limit on how many people can stay overnight versus visiting?
Yes, and most places are quite strict about this for fire safety reasons. While you might have 20 people over for a BBQ in the evening, the “stayover” limit is usually capped at 4 to 6 people for smaller units. Some places issue wristbands or require visitors to register at the security post and leave by 10:30 pm or 11:00 pm.
5. What basic amenities are actually provided in the kitchen?
Most chalets provide a mini-fridge, a kettle, and perhaps a microwave. However, do not expect a full suite of cutlery, plates, or dishwashing liquid. It is a local “pro-tip” to bring your own disposable ware, a sharp knife for cutting food, and extra trash bags, as the provided ones are often thin and few in number.
6. Can I check in early if I have a lot of food and logistics to move?
Official check-in is usually at 2:00 pm or 3:00 pm. Early check-in is rarely guaranteed and is almost always subject to room availability. If you arrive early with boxes of raw marinated meat, most reception counters will allow you to store your coolers in a designated refrigerated area or a luggage room while you wait.
7. Are the chalets “dog-friendly” or “pet-friendly”?
The majority of chalets in Singapore do not allow pets due to hygiene and noise concerns. However, there are a very select few specifically designated “dog-friendly” units that come with fenced-in porches. Bringing a pet to a non-designated unit can result in heavy fines or being asked to leave immediately without a refund.
8. What is the protocol for “noisy” parties and music?
While chalets are meant for socialising, “quiet hours” typically begin at 10:30 pm or 11:00 pm. Security guards do conduct rounds, especially in residential-adjacent areas. If you are planning a loud celebration, it is best to keep the noise indoors after hours and keep the sliding doors closed to avoid complaints from neighbouring units.
9. Is there parking provided for my guests?
Most chalets provide one complimentary parking leaf or electronic grace period for the main booker’s vehicle. Visitors will almost always have to pay prevailing parking rates, which can get quite expensive over a 5-hour BBQ. It is often better to advise guests to use car-sharing services or public transport if the chalet is near an MRT station.
10. Do I need to bring my own bedding or towels?
Standard bedding (sheets, pillows, and blankets) is provided, but the quality can vary. Many Singaporeans prefer to bring their own towels, as the provided ones can sometimes be quite thin. If you have extra guests “crashing” on the sofa, you will definitely need to bring your own sleeping bags or portable mattresses, as extra linen usually incurs an additional daily hire charge.
