Prenatal yoga has become increasingly popular in Singapore, with many expectant mothers turning to this gentle form of exercise to stay fit and prepare for childbirth. The rise in popularity can be attributed to the numerous benefits it offers, such as improved sleep, reduced stress and anxiety, and increased strength, flexibility, and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth. Prenatal yoga classes are designed to cater to the unique needs of pregnant women, incorporating breathing exercises, gentle stretching, and postures that help alleviate common pregnancy discomforts like lower back pain and nausea. Additionally, these classes provide a supportive community where soon-to-be-mums can connect and share their experiences, fostering a sense of camaraderie and emotional support.

However, choosing a reliable prenatal yoga class is crucial for expectant mothers to ensure they receive proper guidance and support throughout their pregnancy journey. A well-trained instructor can offer modifications and adjustments to poses, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and baby. Moreover, a reputable class will maintain a comfortable environment, avoiding practices like hot yoga that could pose risks during pregnancy. By selecting a trustworthy prenatal yoga class, soon-to-be-mums can confidently enjoy the physical and mental benefits of yoga, knowing they are in safe hands as they prepare for the arrival of their little one. Read on to discover some of the best prenatal yoga in Singapore that every expectant mother can truly trust.

I have many memberships with other studios that are more commercial and fitness focused, but OhmSantih is a place that I will always come back to. The studio is great for students who want to learn and practise yoga with it’s true essence; great for those who want to feel better in their body and mind (or have an injury / condition). Also highly recommend the prenatal yoga and kids yoga here.

Haynie Kuo
Good place for yoga.

Over the past one year, I have taken a number of classes at OhmSantih Yoga. The classes are taught by professionals who take care to teach to the needs of the individual participant. One of the best benefits of OhmSantih Yoga is this feature, small class size taught by caring staff like Ms Tammie, who is an amazing Yoga instructor. OhmSantih is a great place for yoga and for individualized attention.I will highly recommend OhmSantih Yoga to anyone who’s looking to learn and practice yoga.

Gerlyn C
Good, Clean, and Professional Yoga studio with nice staff / instructors. Has prenatal yoga, and Hot yoga too which is very interesting. Resident doggo Kobe is the cutest ever.

Y Xm
Booked prenatal yoga classes here. Besides the convenient location, service was also great! They provide yoga mats, pillow (for the prenatal classes), yoga blocks, and knee pads for every session so I literally only had to bring myself and a water bottle to class. The first time I came, I underestimated the travelling time and arrived there 10 mins late. I was expecting them to ban me from coming in, but they were kind enough to allow me and join the session midway! They are very friendly and understanding. Their shower facilities and toilet are also very clean! You can either bring your own towel, or rent a towel from them at $1. They also have a water cooler there for you to refill your water bottle. I came here for the prenatal yoga classes, but the classes and service here are so good, I’m thinking of trying out their regular yoga here after birth. Would defintely recommend this yoga place.

Leah Tan

Jinny Le
I’ve always wanted to go for yoga classes to find inner peace, improve my health and body flexibility but never managed to find the class that works for my timing. Luckily I found Yoga Language of teacher Eng Chew and like it right away from the first session. Eng Chew is very calm and friendly which made me feel comfortable and peaceful through out class. She was also very patient, focus on details to help me with each of the movements. Can’t wait to attend my next sessions. 😇

WonJu Cha Corliss
Decided to go for prenatal Yoga under my gynae’s recommendation to ease my backaches and improve my core. Went with Eng Chew’s prenatal Yoga class for the first time after chancing upon her online and wow. Not only friendly and approachable, she was very encouraging throughout the session, guiding me through each flow and pose with patience. It was a really great workout overall. Will definitely be back soon!

YAN ZI
I had my first prenatal yoga session with EC yesterday and it was great! I had zero prior yoga experience and I was a bit nervous when I signed up for it, but EC made the session incredibly enjoyable. She made her class small, so that she could attend to each one of us on our poses. 🫶🏼🫶🏼I know both my baby and myself are in good hands. Looking forward to the next session.
