Eileen Chan

A welcoming space for animal lovers. Wait till they have events to find out more. It’s a good learning centre for kids and the community in general. Free parking spaces too.

Elaine Quek

We got our precious kitty from SPCA. The whole adoption process was pleasant and efficient. The volunteer, Shannon, was very helpful, knowledgeable, kind and obviously very considerate towards the cats. If you are considering having a pet, do not buy but adopt one. Give these animals a chance to be loved and have a forever home.

Adopted my Singapore Special from SPCA 6 years ago. My girl was well taken care of by the staff back then. Thoughtful assessment was conducted to ensure that our home is suitable and my existing dog would get along well with the newly adopted. Visited the compound again recently and could tell from the efforts of the crew that a lot of care and thoughts have gone into their daily operations with limited resources. Cleaning. Hygiene. Caring. Engagement. A lot goes into looking after so many animals. I hope that the general public can understand that there is a limit to what they can manage reasonably when the “default” call for help is this org. Unless with a magic wand, they can’t help all animals in need as much as they (or anyone) would like to. Sad to see the abandoned cases albeit knowing some cases are genuinely dire cases whilst a number of irresponsible abandonment cases. There is no lives on earth with guaranteed GOOD HEALTH. Even human can come down with a cardiac arrest with no history. So please have a genuine and ready heart to adopt regardless of what happens to the animals once they are in your care. It’s years of commitment till their last breath. Be kind.

Wanted to adopt a kitten and was recommended ALL by a friend. But when I reached there, I was told there wasn’t any kittens but they had cats younger than 4 years old. The staff, Ashok?, explained to me that adoptions are through appointments. Initially he denied me entry but later allowed me to take a quick peek. Man was very kind and knowledgeable about cats. The cats were so beautiful and were snoring away. The cat place looked pretty clean for a shelter. For those adopting, remember to fix an appointment before you head down. ADOPT AND DON’T BUY.

JS

A big heart to run the shelter with animals and no kill policy. The volunteers have a big heart. Please support them financially for running in the best interest of the animals. They did screen all adopters carefully so the adopted animals will not be abandoned again. Well done and they have a BIG heart!

The people who look after a group of pets are those who are able to spend their time, energy and financial giving. I am very touched to see executives of Animal Lovers League working very hard as to maintain all pets daily needs, even, they save their life from danger or wounded. I am really thankful seeing all pets are being looked after, I praise God, and wishing all kind-hearted officers be blessed by God. Amin.

Cat Paradise isn’t just a boarding facility, it’s a well-thought-out feline sanctuary that truly feels like a paradise made of cats for humans!  They have distinct sections dedicated to boarding, gradual integration, and interactive play areas, ensuring every cat feels safe and comfortable. During our visit, we were instantly smitten by Hera, a Bengal cat with mesmerizing markings and the softest mew.  But she wasn’t the only charmer – every cat we met had a unique personality that shone through.  The space is immaculate and filled with engaging toys and cozy nooks for cats to explore. What truly sets this place apart is RU, She’s incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about cats, offering valuable insights and tips for cat care. Whether you’re looking for a place to board your cat or considering adoption, Cat Paradise is a must-visit. The staff are incredibly passionate, and the cats are all so full of love, you’ll leave with your heart full.

Great place that takes in rescue cats and puts them up for adoption. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cats are friendly, playful and gentle. No age limit. 12 dollars for first hour, for subsequent hours 6 on weekdays and 8 weekends. 3 dollars for treats. Toys provided.

Fikri J

First time visiting this place. Visitors should be mentally prepared that this is not a cafe. It’s a cat adoption centre for potential adopters. The place is very quiet and peaceful. Clean as well. Lots of cat toys to play with the cats but only 1 of them is super active. There’s another tuxedo cat which was quite active too. 1 hour was more than enough for us. The other cats were just resting. Prolly cos it was around lunch time and they prefer to take a nap. It was a pleasant experience.

It was a superb experience at Kitten Sanctuary where I find cleanliness, coziness and comfort. The welcome is warm and instructions clear. The time spent there was not only enjoyable, but also therapeutic! Thanks Kitten Sanctuary Singapore for your TLC for the cats!

Jason Chuei

Sanctuary that rescues cats and kittens from being unwanted. Read a bunch of reviews before booking a slot, which said the owner was unfriendly and abusive to staff, but didn’t experience this myself. Place run mostly by passionate volunteers who love cats, and want to help. Front section full of the cutest kittens, middle section lovely adults including one amazing cat with a neurological condition, and the back for the resident cats.

Mikhail Af

We’ve adopted our first dog from there and now fostering for another. People responsible running and volunteering there are one of the most professional, passionate and responsible when comes down to animal handling. God bless in their future work.

Lele Gao

Caring volunteers and rescuers. An environment where all dogs are well socialised, respected, loved and nearly all dogs will complete approved basic training (i.e. a volunteer dedicates 1-2 days a week to pick up dog, take the dog to training, volunteer trainer takes own time at shelter to practice training material with dog, etc). When you go for a visit with your family, it may not be visible but there are almost a dozen+ people who have helped each dog (feeder, rescuer, vet, volunteers, volunteer who trained the dog, caretaker, walkers, 2-3+ volunteers who extra dote on that particular dog by buying special bed/toys/medicine). It may not be apparent in one visit – it takes a “village” and also when adopting a blessing from here, there’s a village of support.

Rea Goh

A lovely dog sanctuary. Very clean and the dogs are healthy.

Kass Kwek

Went for the 2nd visit with my hubby as 4 visits to interact with the dogs that we would like to adopt is a minimum. We enjoyed the +/- 45mins bonding with our keen dogs. The trip from East down was always worth the traveling. We are looking forward to the home stay with the furbaby. They have strict guidelines and we understand why as they really trying their best to ensure their dogs are with good adopters and best homes they could find for them. They are avoiding the return of a adopted dog as it will badly harm the dog emotionally and mentally. Pin who arranged our visits were efficient and prompt with replying to our enquiries. The volunteers that received us at the shelter were friendly and professional. Knowledge with the dogs are not something they are lack of, they knows every single dogs there and this show their passion. The shelter are clean and well maintain. They have dog of all ages and they are beautiful dogs. Please adopt from them if you ready to be the fur baby’s world and take care of them till death do the part. Dun give up on them when they are old and sick cos you are the furbaby only world.

Nicholas Emile Stravens

Was amazed…at the good work they are doing.
