Some days, you want dessert without the guilt trip. Something creamy, cold, and satisfying — but not so heavy that you regret it halfway through. That’s where frozen yogurt in Singapore has quietly become every girl’s go-to. It’s sweet but tangy, indulgent yet probiotic-packed, and customisable down to the very last drizzle of sauce.
Whether you’re catching up with your besties after Pilates, hunting for a post-dinner treat, or simply craving something that feels lighter than ice cream, froyo hits that sweet spot. From viral Korean imports to OG crowd favourites, here are the seven best spots to get your swirl on.
Note: This list is strictly not in order.
1. Yo-Chi

If you love a dessert moment that feels like an event, Yo-Chi is your girl. Straight from Melbourne and parked at Orchard Central, this vibrant DIY bar is all loud music, neon energy, and main-character confidence. Their soft serve is made with Australian milk and is 98% fat-free, low in calories, and packed with probiotics and calcium — so yes, you can justify that second swirl.
The Signature Tart is creamy with a pronounced tang, while Salted Butterscotch, Matcha, and Strawberry Cream bring that sweet-meets-sassy balance. But let’s be real: the toppings bar is the true star. Brownie chunks, strawberry mochi, edible cookie dough, nata de coco, mango popping pearls — it’s dangerously easy to lose control.
Warm Nutella, Biscoff, and peanut butter from the drizzle station? Say less. Just remember: one cup size means portion control is entirely on you.
Prices:
- Frozen Yogurt: $3.50/100g
Highlights:
- 98% fat-free froyo made with Australian milk
- Massive toppings and warm drizzle bar
- Reusable KeepCup discount & app promos

Despite the scarily long queue on weekends, it moves rapidly and in less than fifteen minutes, I was already getting my yogurt bowl. Don’t expect to get seating during the weekends though. There are lots of options for the yogurts and all of them were fantastic! The toppings were also really good, and I’d suggest not filling up until near the cashier, as the final few toppings are really good! (brownies, biscoff spread, etc) Staff were kind and patient in dealing with the customers, and overall a really great experience! Even better without the queueing.

Visited Yo-chi for frozen yogurt & açaí and really enjoyed it! They have many flavour options to choose from. This time I tried the original Froyo and the açaí — both were refreshing and delicious. I love that we can pick and add whatever toppings we want, super fun and customisable. Overall a great place for a sweet treat!

Loved my visit to Yo-Chi at Orchard Central! Great variety of frozen yogurt flavors and an amazing toppings spread — fresh fruits, crunchy options, and indulgent sauces. The yogurt was creamy and not overly sweet, which I really liked. The outlet is clean, well-organized, and the staff were friendly and efficient even during peak hours. Perfect spot for a quick dessert break while shopping on Orchard Road. Will definitely be back!

This grab-and-go kiosk keeps things simple but chic, with standing tables for those quick dessert dates. If you’ve been curious about trendy froyo in Singapore, this is one of the freshest names to try.
The yoghurt base is creamy, tangy, and balanced — not overwhelmingly sweet, which makes it dangerously easy to finish a whole bowl. You get small or medium sizes, plus the option to crack on a glossy chocolate shell in flavours like mint, mango, chocolate, or strawberry milk.
With over 30 toppings locally, the honeycomb is the iconic must-try. Think gooey Honey Stars energy — sweet, sticky, and indulgent. Pair it wisely unless you’re ready for a sugar rush. For something lighter, try the Standard base with dried marshmallows and cereal for playful crunch.

I often visit Yoajung. I personally think Yoajung is the best yogurt icecream shop that the others in town for the quality of ice-cream and fruits for toppings. It provides best quality by focusing on the core limited items instead of providing various tastes and toppings with lower quality.

3. Yolé

Yolé has been in the game long enough to know its strengths. Launched in 2018, the brand gained attention for offering one of the world’s first zero sugar added frozen yogurt options — a win for girls who read labels before ordering.
Their Zero Sugar Added Signature Froyo is high in protein, gluten-free, and low-calorie, making it a safe space for the calorie-conscious. Texture-wise, it leans slightly icier at first compared to some competitors, but the flavour settles into a pleasant, mild tang after a few bites.
Where Yolé gets playful is in the sauces — especially the durian puree. Creamy, fragrant, and unexpectedly harmonious with tart froyo, it’s bold but works beautifully. Choose from regular cups or the larger “Ibiza” option layered with fruit, crunch, and sauce.
It may not scream dramatic flavour, but it’s reliable, affordable, and perfect for when you want something lighter.
Prices:
- Cups
- Small: $5.50
- Medium: $6.50
- Ibiza
- Medium: $7.50
Highlights:
- Zero sugar added froyo option
- High-protein, gluten-free choices
- Unique durian sauce offering

4. Smöoy

Smöoy keeps things sleek and straightforward. This Spanish franchise is known for being the first to market “functional” frozen yogurt, which is essentially low fat, rich in fibre, and gluten-free.
While they don’t overwhelm you with base flavours, what they do, they do well. The natural base is sweet and dense, dependable in that comforting way. Seasonal flavours like lychee add a refreshing twist that feels like air-conditioning in dessert form.
Ordering is fuss-free: pick your size, choose your flavour, then personalise with toppings. Prices are wallet-friendly, starting from around $5.50, making it an easy weekday treat.
Generous portions and a wide topping selection make this a strong all-rounder, especially if you’re budgeting but still craving something creamy. Try it with berries and granola for that balanced, brunch-core vibe.
Prices:
- Yogurt
- Mini: $5.50
- Classic: $6.50
Highlights:
- Low-fat, fibre-rich, gluten-free froyo
- Affordable pricing from ~$5.50
- Seasonal flavours available

Gokila Vani
A popular frozen yogurt chain originated in Spain and has extended globally, including outlets in Southeast Asia. Smooy offers frozen yogurt as a low-fat probiotic rich alternative to ice cream. Great for people looking for a guilt free dessert 😁😁. Yogurt is tangy, light and overly sweet. Wise variety of toppings and sauces. The place is big and clean. Modern looking. Service is generally pleasant.
J J
Helpful, friendly and efficient staff who patiently answered our questions about their wide variety of toppings. Melon seasonal flavour is very nice! Boba is the popping type, not chewy. Do note that most of the sauces are incredibly sweet, which makes the cut fruit and yoghurt seem more sour by comparison.

5. Llaollao

The OG that sparked Singapore’s froyo obsession, Llaollao still holds her crown. Her froyo is famously smooth — thick but never heavy, creamy without a trace of iciness, and consistently indulgent.
The Sanum parfait remains the Beyoncé of the menu: layered frozen yogurt, fresh fruit, crunch, and sauce in one dramatic cup. It’s refreshing yet surprisingly filling, so maybe don’t underestimate her.
Sauce pairings are where the magic happens. Pistachio with strawberries feels luxe and grown-up, while Biscoff with cookie crumbs is unapologetically decadent. The classic combination of strawberries, kiwi, crushed cookies, and lotus caramel sauce is still a safe but elite choice.
When you want texture perfection and a brand that never misses, Llaollao delivers every time.
Prices:
- Tubs
- Small: $6
- Medium: $7
- Sanum: $8
Highlights:
- Ultra-smooth, creamy consistency
- Iconic Sanum layered parfait
- Wide sauce selection (Pistachio, Biscoff, etc.)

6. Yogurt Planet

If texture is everything to you, Yogurt Planet is about to become your new obsession. Their yoghurt is fermented for 28 hours, resulting in a thick, slightly stretchy, chewy consistency that feels indulgent but still probiotic-rich.
Choose your bowl size, then head to the unlimited fresh fruit station — watermelon, dragonfruit, grapes, rock melon — before adding your yoghurt base. Flavours like Emerald (subtle grape), Sea Coconut (lightly sweet and tropical), and Black Five Grains (with hints of sesame) keep things interesting.
Once you’re three-quarters full, go wild at the toppings station. Barley, granola, taro jelly, haw flakes — it’s texture heaven. Portions are generous enough to double as a light meal replacement, though seating is limited, so plan for grab-and-go energy.
Prices:
- Frozen Yogurt Bowls
- Small: $6.60
- Medium: $8.90
Highlights:
- 28-hour fermented yoghurt base
- Unlimited fresh fruit bar
- Unique flavours like Sea Coconut & Black Five Grains

Very good experience at the store. The lady is really kind and made the experience very warm. $6.60 for a small cup where fruits are unlimited and can store two yoghurt flavours without additional charge. Next the toppings are free to choose too. Grabpay has a 15% off which the staff nicely told us too.

TheGirlCo’s Recommendation
Not all froyo runs are created equal. Here’s how we’d pick based on your vibe and priorities:
1. If you want the most extra DIY dessert experience:
Our pick: Yo-Chi
Pick Yo-Chi when you want your dessert to feel like a full-on outing, not just a “quick cup”. The vibe is loud, fun, and very main-character, and the topping bar is honestly the real reason people come back. You get that creamy-tart base (made with Australian milk, plus it’s 98% fat-free and probiotic-packed), then build your own chaos with brownie chunks, cookie dough, mochi, nata de coco, popping pearls, and more.
The warm drizzle station is the clincher. Nutella, Biscoff, peanut butter… it turns froyo into a full dessert moment. This is perfect for girls’ day out, post-shopping treats at Orchard, or when you’re not counting every gram and just want to have fun with flavours and textures.
2. If you’re watching your sugar but still want options:
Our pick: Yolé
Yolé is your go-to when you want something lighter and more macro-friendly, without sacrificing the froyo experience. Their Zero Sugar Added Signature Froyo is one of the biggest reasons it stays popular: high-protein, gluten-free, and low-calorie, which makes it ideal if you’re cutting down on sugar, tracking calories, or trying to keep dessert from turning into a sugar spiral.
It’s also reliable and easy to customise, especially with their “Ibiza” style cups that layer fruit, crunch, and sauce so it feels more complete than a plain swirl. Bonus: if you want something uniquely Singapore, their durian puree is surprisingly good with tart froyo—bold, creamy, and not as overpowering as you’d expect.
3. If texture matters more than hype:
Our pick: Yogurt Planet
If you’re the kind of girl who cares about mouthfeel, Yogurt Planet is the one. The 28-hour fermentation gives their yoghurt a thicker, slightly stretchy, chewy texture that feels more indulgent and “real yoghurt” than many mainstream chains. It’s probiotic-rich, satisfying, and doesn’t rely on being overly sweet to taste good.
The unlimited fresh fruit bar is also a major USP, especially if you’re trying to make dessert feel more balanced. You can load up on watermelon, dragonfruit, grapes, and more before adding your base. Then you’ve got fun, Asian-leaning toppings like barley, taro jelly, haw flakes, granola, and cereals for crunch. It’s generous enough to double as a light meal replacement, which makes it a smart pick when you want something that feels both healthy and substantial.
Final Thoughts
Frozen yogurt has evolved far beyond its “diet dessert” reputation. Today, it’s customisable, probiotic-packed, and honestly just fun. Whether you lean toward Korean honeycomb drama, zero-sugar practicality, OG creamy perfection, or chewy fermented indulgence, there’s a spot that matches your personality and cravings.
At the end of the day, froyo gives you the freedom to indulge on your terms — light, loaded, or somewhere in between. And if you ever find yourself craving something richer and more nostalgic? Don’t miss our guide to the best ice cream shops in Singapore for your next sweet fix.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Is frozen yogurt actually healthier than normal ice cream?
Generally, it is lower in fat because it is made with milk rather than cream. However, the sugar content can be quite high—sometimes even higher than ice cream—to balance out the natural tartness of the yogurt. It is considered a “healthier” choice mainly due to the presence of probiotics and lower calorie counts in the plain versions.
2. Are the probiotics in the yogurt still “alive” after being frozen?
Most reputable brands use a flash-freezing process that keeps the “live and active cultures” dormant rather than killing them. While the probiotic count might be lower than a fresh cup of Greek yogurt, you are still getting some of those gut-health benefits.
3. Which toppings should I pick if I am on a diet?
Fresh fruits like kiwi, strawberries, and blueberries are the best options. Most people avoid the “cookie crunches” or melon seeds if they are watching their weight. Toasted muesli or sunflower seeds are also popular for adding texture without the sugar crash of chocolate sauces.
4. Is frozen yogurt in Singapore Halal-certified?
Many major chains in Singapore have obtained Halal certification from MUIS to cater to the local community. For those that are not officially certified, they often provide ingredient lists to show that no pork-based gelatin or alcohol-derived stabilizers are used.
5. Why does some froyo taste more “sour” or “tart” than others?
This depends on the fermentation process and the “tart-to-sweet” ratio the brand aims for. Traditional froyo is meant to have a sharp tang, while “creamy” styles are often formulated to mimic the taste of vanilla soft-serve to appeal to those who find pure yogurt too acidic.
6. Are there dairy-free or vegan frozen yogurt options available?
Yes, several outlets have introduced plant-based alternatives made from coconut milk, almond milk, or soy. These are clearly labeled to help those who are lactose intolerant or following a vegan lifestyle.
7. How many calories are typically in a medium-sized cup?
A standard medium cup of plain frozen yogurt without toppings usually ranges between 150 to 250 calories. Once you add “crunch” and “sauce” (which are very popular in Singapore), the total can easily jump to 400 or 500 calories.
8. Is it safe for toddlers and young children to eat?
It is generally safe and often preferred by parents as a treat because it contains calcium and less fat than traditional ice cream. However, the high sugar content means it should be given in moderation, and small toppings like nuts or hard candies should be avoided to prevent choking.
9. Why is froyo often more expensive than a scoop of ice cream?
The cost is usually driven by the “premium” nature of the ingredients, such as imported milk and the cost of maintaining live cultures. Additionally, the “parfait” style (layering multiple toppings) which is very popular here, adds to the labor and ingredient costs.
10. Does frozen yogurt melt faster than ice cream in Singapore’s heat?
Because it has a higher water content and lower fat content than ice cream, it does tend to lose its structure slightly faster in our humid weather. Most locals prefer to eat it inside the air-conditioned malls rather than taking it “to-go” for a walk outside.
