What a coincidence tonight! Without any special arrangements, we happened to encounter the one-year anniversary celebration of Sushi Suzuki at Mondrian Hotel. Chef Suzuki not only continued to provide us with delicious dishes, but also prepared fine wines for the anniversary celebration. Thank you chefs and staff for creating such an unforgettable weekend for us! 😍

Vanessa Ng
An incredible omakase experience! Highlights included the creamy monkfish liver, a show-stopping snow crab (agemono) dish, and 7 sushi pieces. Special touches like a heart-shaped negitoro maki with uni and a surprise birthday dessert made it even more memorable. Service and presentation were top-notch. Something minor—they charged us for tea separately at $2 each, which we thought should be included in the meal, but this doesn’t take away anything from the great experience. Can’t wait to return!

Thanks for chef Suzuki and his team. Every dish is tasty and well seasoned. Especially the abalone and unagi. I really had a lovely dinner.

Second time back at Waku Ghin to celebrate NYE with the family! We were inside the private dining room and had the view of the water show as well. Every dish was delicious, and having the signature dish – Uni with caviar, is the absolute best. It is a must have when you are here in Waku Ghin!

Year-end dinner 🥰✨ Also my first time at this restaurant; it’s been in my to eat list since forever, hence I was really looking forward to dining here. The food was amazing and service was top-notch, so I’m not sure why they dropped down to a 1-star this year. Nonetheless, I enjoyed everything. Recommend!

Cindy
Had a lovely dining experience at Waku Ghin last Sunday. Kimi, our host was very friendly and gave good recommendations. He was very patient in answering our questions. Will definitely come back to try the omakase menu next time.

Excellent taste ! Love the Wanmori soup and its tasty zest mixed with yuzu ! Next the A5 Wagyu shabu shabu , tender and juicy . The oukado cold somen was my favorite . The noodles thickness was so thin and chewy . They were also kind enough to switch the salmon out with truffle and mushroom on rice .. the umami was perrrfffect !! Definitely would come by again ! Dessert – warabi mochi was warm and baked on the outside . Best and unforgettable taste of warmness …..🥰🥰🥰 thank you Chef Shuji!

Shoukouwa Shinjidai breaks away from traditional Japanese dining norms. Formalities are swapped for a rebellious punk rock vibe, with bold flavour pairings woven into a Kaiseki-inspired menu. Each dish is playfully named after iconic hits: “Like a Virgin” by Madonna arrives as a selection of sashimi topped with inventive garnishes, while Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine” showcases indulgent kegani (hairy crab) served with crab roe sauce and pickled watermelon radish. If you’re a girl who loves good food and good music, then Shoukouwa Shinjidai is for you!

This is my first itamae sushi experience, and it was great. Before I went I did not understand why people pay so much and make such effort for this experience, but I do understand now, and wanted to go again. Somehow like how I felt about Disney. 😂
