Very popular place. Thursday evening – full house! Families celebrating grandparents’ birthday, children’s birthdays, friends gathering, couples sharing moments & families enjoying wholesome meals all around. The Singapore Partners hit the jackpot with this one. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between casual & fine dining, creating a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere that’s ideal for any occasion. Thank you, Team Hayop, for the wonderful hospitality!

Finally got to try the newest gem in Town. We enjoyed the thoughtfully presented dishes that put a modern twist to familiar favourites. Bold, intense flavours served in small (some would say tiny) portions. Each dish surprises with their modern presentation and familiar (with intensity dialed up) flavours. Cozy and intimate atmosphere (perfect for a date night) with warm and friendly service from the staff (thanks for the surprise!). Can’t wait to return to sample the other offerings.

Patty Domingo-Lacdao
Been looking for good Filipino restaurants here in SG and it’s so great to hear Manam opening their store as Hayop ni Manam in Telok Ayer. Of course, ordered a lot of food – started off with: – Ensaladang Hayop (Green mango, winged bean, red radish, and pickled watermelon rind. Salted egg white crumble and yolk vinaigrette) – Ube Shake (Housemade Purple Yam Sorbetes, Coconut Cream, White Sago) – argh! This hits home. – Wild Mushroom and Tofu Kare-Kare (Maitake, Portobello, King Oyster, fried tofu and tofu pillows, in house-made peanut and miso stew. Snow cabbage and French green beans) – Gising-Gising (Winged bean and tofu crumble Spicy coconut, patis, and bagoong) – staple favourite! – Piyanggang Manok (Charcoal-grilled then braised corn-fed heritage French chicken fillet Pamapa itum: burnt fresh coconut and its first and second pressed milk, turmeric, lemongrass, and red chilis) – Garlic Fried Rice (never go wrong with this rice) – Halo-halo (super yummy! the best dessert!) Customer service was excellently. The whole experience really puts Hayop to fine dining par excellence. Gabby even called me to check dietary restrictions as I placed it in the reservations online. The servers were even so happy to be with you on this delectable journey. Definitely you should visit this place!

Sheanne Polca
When there’s a chance to drop by in the city area, I always went to this place to eat my favourite “lomi” (it cost $10 with drinks) plus halo halo for dessert. And there’s a lot of frozen food to choose.

Melissa Poh
Stumbled across this store and the food is good! Tasted like good ol’ home cooked food, flavours were great and portion is awesome for the price. The store owners are really nice too, we didn’t realise that the meals came with drinks and would have not grabbed them from the fridge if not for the owner’s reminder haha. Worth trying out, do support them! Oh and the halo halo was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back to eat that again and try the other dishes.

Kee Suen
As a Chinese guy, I am not very familiar with filipino food, but I decided to try this since I was nearby. Damn it was a good choice for $8. Even though it does not look like a lot, it definitely fills your stomach well. The small soup bowl they give with it is a bit sour and savoury, which is a nice contrast with the pork and makes it less gelat. The meat is incredibly well seasoned and you can taste the complexities of the spices and sauces inside. Will probably come back.

Thank you Ms Lynn for the fantastic service and the delicious recommendations! The Pig ear is to die for! Totally unexpected. I also loved the sossyal na turon as well as the bicol express… so sinfully good! Make sure to down it all with pale pilsen!

Jerome Tan
Superb Filipino food and service! Thanks Erica and Jasmine for the great service! And yes, the food are really yummy. Even better than what we had in Cebu or Manila. The oyster is super fat and fresh, the szizig is superb, the garlic rice is also simple and nice!! Only complaint is the bill can be a bit on the high side but we had a enjoyable night!

Melanie Tan
The chicken inasal was the best I’ve ever had! It wasn’t too salty, just nice, perfectly cooked/charred and the sauce went really well.

Customer Review

TTT
We sampled a variety of dishes, and everyone enjoyed. The only downside was that the indoor space is limited to accommodate more than five people. Chopped Lechon was crispy and complemented the sauces perfectly. Milkfish Sisig was flavorful without any fishy taste. Vegetable Kare-Kare is ideal for those who love peanut butter. Lechon Lumpia was generously stuffed with meat. Beef Tepa was sweet, spicy, and perfectly cooked. Lechon Sinigang had just the right amount of sourness. Leche Flan was clearly tailored to Singaporean taste buds, it was much sweeter in the Philippines Highly recommended!

Jo Anne
Authentic Filipino cuisine. Lechon was served crispy and juicy.👍 The vegetable kare-kare was very delicious as well. The staffs are accommodating. If you are in SG and craving for Filipino food, this is the best place to go👌.

Rocky Acot
Juicy, crispy lechon belly. Lechon sinigang. Lechon sisig. And there’s more – they also have fish like bangus sinigang! Their sauce for the pork is homemade! Great that they have an air-conditioned dining area, aside from the outdoor area. If you can’t get enough, just do a delivery option to your location!

Jen Chia
Hi i feel the need to leave a review here because of your shop’s impeccable food and service. We had a group of 9 and your staff actually rearranged the tables such that it is comfortable for us to be seated in one row (3 tables joined together, instead of the original layout of two tables in a row). And the food. The boodlefight is well worth its price (we ordered a 2 pax boodlefight) with a few dishes (which include the sisig), and we were so full after the meal. Your staff’s friendliness and attentiveness towards us throughout the meal, and that the food served were delicious, deserves a five-star. I rarely try filipino food (apart from jollibee) but i definitely want to try more after this meal. Thank you Nanay’s. 🙂

Marga
It was a rainy day when we decided to go to Nanay’s kitchen, google says they have the best bulalo. True enough when we tried it, it was soooo good it was a good match with the weather and it feels at home. We ordered bulalo, rice, halo-halo (so-so) and turon. Turon is also delicious try to ask condensed milk. All in all we will definitely go back to try other food in their menu.

Regiena M
This is my second time having Boodle Fight in less than a week and the food experience was superb. The star dishes are sizzling chicken sisig, grilled sotong, fried milkfish, chicken bbq and chicken skin. The food is well seasoned, delicious and appetizing! My family and friends enjoyed the food experience and has positive feedback as well. Come and try the authentic Filipino halal dishes. Next time I visit Nanay’s Kitchen I will try their nasi padang dishes.

Tried the classic, and it was delicious. Fried rice is super garlicky. The meat is tender and not too salty. Overall, it was a good meal.

Dennis Teodoro
Very authentic Filipino cuisine. Delicious and the serving is just right. We tried their lechon, sisig, adobo, liempo and laing and we say it is really really good. Very near to Lyf hotel and very close to One-North Station too! It is a must-try Filipino cuisine! They are located in Timbre+ where there is a live band or gig every night. You have to try and comment here if you agree! 😊.

Ida Einjaw
Great tasting lechon. I ordered the 500g for $24. Skin is very crispy, nice mild smokiness, good balance of fats and lean meat. Aromatics like spring onions, ginger, garlic and lots of lemongrass makes the meat very fragrant. It’s lemongrass overload! Actually the lechon is flavourful enough that no sauce is needed for me.

CP
Eaten here twice – once in the evening and this time during lunch. The grilled pork belly is very juicy and slightly crispy on the outside, and has that awesome bbq aroma. I would love to eat that chilli but I did not as I would definitely break out in sweat. It’s so satisfying just eating the pork belly and rice.

Calliope Sia
This is our favorite small Filipino Carinderia. A very good example of Filipino fast food restaurant. Food is great tasting and authentic. They have a regular menu but they also have several dishes that changes everyday. Price you see in the menu are inclusive of all taxes and other charges. They have a meal for 8 sgd. Location is not bad, there’s parking at the back of the building and within walking distance of 3 different mrt lines – Bugis, Cityhall and Bras Basah station. If you are a big group heading for lunch try to be there at 12:00 as it gets a bit crowded but people come and go quickly. Most diners are employees on lunch break. Dinner is more relax but they close at 8:00 so plan for an early dinner. The owner and staff are all nice and courteous. They also have take out and delivery.

Shan Sachdev
The food and customer service here is amazing. The place is spotless. Best chicharon and lumpia.

We are so glad to find this restaurant; they serve authentic and very good Filipino dishes. Everything we had was very, very delicious.
