These awesome puff pastry in the form of a ring donut are baked crisp, light, flaky and filled with pieces of fruits inside. Note: Those with sweet tooth 🦷 , rejoice! ‘Cause these will certainly satisfy any sweet cravings.

JJ Jen
These sweet crispy donuts are yummy. Now they have more flavours. My family still prefers the sweet potato and apple flavour. Mixed berries is nice too.

Dorisyong
This is one of those places I would like to keep secret so that I can enjoy their food all by myself. Unfortunately, economy does not work this way. Donatzu has the best cronuts available in Singapore at this moment in time. I have absolutely no idea how all the food bloggers miss this place… hmm, maybe you should give them a call before you go down. If they happen to be doing deliveries, you might face closed shutters even though Google says they are open for business. Anyway, their signature apple is awesome. They periodically add new flavours too. The latest at time of this edit is Hojicha Almond.

Honestly, this is the best donut I’ve ever had. Tried the passionfruit and vanilla one—mindblowingly good. I’m 100% coming back to try more flavors. The queue gets long but moves pretty fast, so don’t let that scare you off.

Ordered cream donuts and cupcakes the next day from this Halal shop for my Muslim friends. Donut is good, cupcakes are tasty, cream didnt feel too heavy. Base cake was moist! Very good! Location itself maybe not as convenient as it’s not too near MRT station, but it’s quite worth the travel.

M. Chen
Was craving for dessert when I walked past them on a Sunday afternoon. Best decision ever! I bought their New York Cheesevake Donut and Smores Nutella Cupcake, they also let me try their chicken scone (in the picture). Their donut is very good – very soft and full of filling, it was so nice that I ate it and forgot to take photo, lol.

HengHeng Soh
We chanced upon this bakery when we were walking around haji lane area. As my kids only wanted donuts, we only takeaway 3 donuts. The donuts are better than alot of famous brands. We have chosen chocolate, vanilla & passion mango cheese. Got to be careful when you bite into the donuts as there are so much fillings that with just a little pressure, they overflow. All 3 are nice, chocolate slightly bitter tone, passion mango cheese slightly sour. We will definitely return again to try their other bakes.

Customer Reviews:

JY
This popular cafe serves excellent bread. The simple grilled cheese sourdough bread was fantastic with an excellent texture. Focaccia sandwich was also tasty and super huge in size – it’s actually enough to feed 2 girls. Kobashi got famous for its sourdough donuts and it didn’t disappoint. The pistachio raspberry donut had a balanced flavour and not overly sweet as well. There are long queues on weekends, so do drop by on weekends if possible.

Adrian Then
Visited a few times on both a weekend and a weekday, really enjoyed the Sourdough Donuts (forgot to take photos) as it was a very unique texture and taste! Ordered the bangers and mash and the sourdough grilled cheese, the sausage was normal but the mash was IMMACULATE, the grilled cheese was very good the dip that came with it really pairs with the grill cheese sandwich extremely well!

Murphy
Food and coffee was delicious, loved the burnt brown butter cream sourdough donut. Foccacia was a great combo with the bangers and mash. Sauerkraut could be a nice addition to make it special with some extra crunch. Service was great considering how busy the cafe was for a Saturday morning. Hope they do well and can upgrade to a bigger place soon.

I’ve been an avid fan of this wonderful, homely bakery for years- so much so that i’d make to 2.5h journey from the west to the east solely for their bakes. Its a little out of the way, yes- but I stand by my belief that they make the best filled donuts (amongst many other things) on the island, and that journey is always worth it. Their passion and genuinity shines through in their locally inspired, highly original rotating menu. They have a wonderful attention to detail, in a warm, familial way- no gimmicks or fanfare. Sadly, I don’t live in Singapore anymore, but it remains one of my favourite bakeries on the island, and one I’ll always return to when i’m home!

Jasmine Lee
Love their donuts! Especially the taro coconut, packed with filling, so creamy! 😋 Vanilla bean is classic and can never go wrong. 👌🏻 ($4 each) The sour cream with chives is very interesting but recommend to share it as it can get pretty jelak! 😅 ($4.20) Plain cinnamon sugar is comfort food ($2.90). Love the vanilla bean citrus egg tart! ($5.50) heat it up according to their website instructions and it’s really flaky with warm wobbly egg custard.

Rachel Tan
Puffs and Peaks is my favourite bakery because they make the best croissants, even better than TBB! Super buttery and fragrant and they give you reheating instructions on their website on how to achieve that. Their quiches are also amaaaazing. Basically they do their puff pastries right! I am very picky with my viennoiserie and I always fall back on Puffs and Peaks to deliver a solid pastry. Not to mention that they’re known for their artisanal donuts! Fluffiest ever and so generous with their filling. Their seasonal menu which changes monthly also keeps me excited 😊

First time at Lukumades. Attracted by the shop’s exteriors and went in see see. First time trying Greek donuts. I played safe by choosing flavors I heard before haha! But then I regretted. I bought other flavours for my colleagues and they said those were even better. Will be back to try their shakes & Icecream ! Oh ya, I chilled a box to share with my family for supper. It tasted great even when chilled. The donut itself isn’t too sweet. Not crispy nor soggy. The “sauces” are sweet as I chose bueno. Hope you guys like too.

My boyfriend absolutely loved their doughnuts, especially the fillings inside, and after trying them the other day, I can see why! The doughnuts were baked perfectly—not too sweet—and the fillings were very well-balanced. They also had a great selection of doughnuts to choose from. Overall, a must-try for anyone who loves a good, balanced doughnut.

Norlim Karim
Just moved into this neighbourhood and found this donut place. No pork, no lard, no gelatine, no alcohol. 👍 We tried the salted caramel and banana fritters donuts. They were so good. Need to go back and try other flavours.

Germaine
Relocated from Whampoa! Finally decided to try this doughnut place which was trending from social media, and I see the hype! Doughnuts are pricey though, $2.80 each. But the filling was very generous and the flavours are all very well done! They have Christmas flavours now like peppermint chocolate! I recommend the pistachio and the apple custard because they are really fragrant! Take note that the donuts are best consumed the day itself and you probably will only be able to eat 1 in a sitting because jelak haha. Worth a try tho! update on 01/25: they moved back to whampoa! haha!
