I attended the beginners sewing class with zero knowledge on how to operate a sewing machine and by the end of the lessons, I’m able to confidently use the machine and even bought myself one! Phoebe is such a great instructor and that’s what made me look forward to the class weekly. We made so many pretty bags which was great! Totally recommend everyone to attend this workshop if you want to learn sewing. Thanks Phoebe & Liza!

I wholeheartedly LOVE this place!! I initially just planned to take the pant class but enjoyed it so much I decided to also take the top/dress class. The teachers are so patient and make learning so fun and easy to understand. Additionally, they’re super understanding and will accommodate you if you have a busy schedule and cannot attend every scheduled class session. Amazing value for money!! Not only are you learning valuable technical skills, they also give you a few basic sewing tools to keep and even email you a copy of your bodice block for future use! Cannot rave enough about my experience with SewFun.

Good place to learn how to sew.

We had a 2-day session on khat embroidery here. It’s a huge open space, complete with an indoor cafe. Clean, organised, beautifully done up, a relaxed place to learn sewing. Friendly owners and trainers too who are ever patient in answering all our questions. The place can be hired for a reasonable fee for any external workshop like ours or personal events. We had a great time learning to embroider and we felt welcomed too. Some of us even signed up for their sewing classes!
