Customer Reviews

Wei Ni
Good service from Manager Mr.V. Very attentive and friendly!

Fhaye Tomas
The dinner buffet was amazing. The first time we ate here was one year ago but our experience is just as consistent. They had a very good food selection, seafood and japanese sections are very premium (consisting of high quality imported lobsters, snow crabs, and shrimps). The sushi are as fresh as you can imagine and they also offer ebi tempura. I’m glad they also serve the local hainanese chicken rice and seafood noodle soups. Our friends specifically liked their Indian selection. I also loved their salad and desserts!

Li Lin
The food and environment are perfect. In addition to seafood such as lobsters and oysters, there are also other rich foods. Children also like it. I have been there several times and it is better than other buffets.

Conclusion

High tea isn’t just about food — it’s about sharing laughter, stories, and moments with the people we love most. From luxurious hotel buffets to cosy cafés, Singapore has no shortage of halal-friendly options where we can indulge in style. Whether you’re after variety, elegance, or cultural flavours, this list of the 10 Best Halal High Tea in Singapore That Girls Love is here to make your afternoons extra special. And if you’re planning your next outing, why not explore the best cafe in Orchard Road too — perfect for coffee, cake, and endless girl talk.

Halal high tea in Singapore refers to afternoon tea sets or buffets prepared in accordance with Islamic dietary laws. This means the food is free from pork, lard, alcohol, and any non-halal ingredients. In many cases, the restaurants or cafes are certified by MUIS (Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura), while others may be Muslim-owned or offer halal-friendly menus. For Muslim diners, checking the certification or confirmation with the establishment is always a good idea to ensure peace of mind.

Not necessarily. The pricing of halal high tea usually depends on the type of venue, brand, and menu offered rather than whether it is halal-certified. For example, a luxury hotel offering halal-certified high tea might be on the higher end, while casual halal cafes can serve affordable sets at a fraction of the cost. On average, Singaporeans can expect to pay anywhere between $20 to $60 per person, depending on the level of dining experience they’re looking for.

Affordable halal high tea can often be found at cafes, community restaurants, and smaller boutique establishments. Many offer set menus with pastries, cakes, and savouries at wallet-friendly prices. In neighbourhood areas such as Kampong Glam or East Coast, halal cafes often have afternoon tea sets that cost around $20 to $30 per person. Booking during weekday afternoons rather than weekends can also help save money, as many places run promotions during off-peak hours.

Yes, some hotels in Singapore serve halal-certified high tea, but not all. Hotels such as The Fullerton and selected restaurants within larger chains sometimes offer halal menus or work with MUIS-certified kitchens to cater to Muslim guests. It’s always important to confirm before making a reservation, as halal certification might only apply to specific outlets or menus. Many hotels also offer halal-friendly alternatives upon request, especially for private events or special occasions.

A typical halal high tea set in Singapore includes a variety of sweet and savoury bites. On the savoury side, you might find mini sandwiches, sliders, quiches, samosas, or chicken puffs. For sweets, expect cakes, tarts, macarons, scones with jam, and traditional kueh. To complement the food, tea or coffee is usually served, and some venues also offer mocktails or specialty teas. This mix of Western-style and Asian-inspired bites makes halal high tea a favourite among local food lovers.

Both are available, but halal high tea buffets are less common compared to set menus. Most halal high tea experiences are served in tiered stands for a more traditional feel. However, some larger restaurants and hotels occasionally offer buffet-style halal high tea, especially during festive seasons like Ramadan or Hari Raya. These buffets provide a wider selection of dishes, from Asian specialties to international desserts, which can be a great option for group gatherings.

Yes, making a reservation is highly recommended. High tea is typically served during limited time slots in the afternoon, and popular halal-certified places can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Reservations also allow the staff to prepare your halal-specific menu in advance if the restaurant has multiple kitchens. By booking early, you avoid long waiting times and ensure you secure the best table, particularly if you’re celebrating a birthday or special occasion.

Many halal high tea venues in Singapore are able to accommodate vegetarian diets, with options such as mushroom quiches, vegetable sandwiches, and fruit-based desserts. Vegan halal high tea, however, is less common but slowly gaining traction. Some Muslim-owned cafes with a focus on healthier dining may offer plant-based alternatives upon request. It’s always best to ask in advance when making a reservation so the kitchen has time to prepare suitable dishes.

Yes, children are welcome at most halal high tea venues in Singapore. High tea is a family-friendly activity, and many establishments provide child-friendly seating and cutlery. Some places even offer kids’ portions or adjusted menus with simpler food like sandwiches, chicken nuggets, and fruit tarts. Parents should also note that high tea is typically served in quiet, cosy settings, so it’s best to choose a family-friendly cafe if you’re bringing young children.

The best way is to consider three main factors: budget, location, and vibe. If you’re looking for a luxurious experience, halal-certified hotel lounges are ideal. For casual outings with friends, halal cafes in Kampong Glam, Arab Street, or Joo Chiat offer a more laid-back atmosphere. If convenience is important, choose a venue close to MRT stations or shopping malls. Finally, always read reviews and check social media pages for updated menus and promotions. By aligning your choice with the occasion—be it a romantic date, a girly brunch, or a family outing—you’ll easily find the perfect halal high tea spot.
