Great food at a good price in town. The $18.80 set lunch (comes with a soup/salad, main & coffee/tea) is a good deal for quality food. For starters – the potato leek soup is nice, creamy and flavourful. The salad is fresh and paired well with a tangy balsamic vinegar sauce For mains – The Spicy Cod Pasta is delightfully spicy with a strong seafood flavour. The pasta also pairs wonderfully with the sauce, using a large circular pasta cooked to perfection, not too hard nor too soft. The only criticism I have for this is the lack of any visible cod in the dish. The Barramundi Fish and Chips was also good. The fish is nothing to shout about, and the tartare sauce is mild but clearly homemade. The star of the show was the fries, possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. Probably triple fried, crisp and salted well, it was so good that you wouldn’t need any ketchup with it. A huge plus is the 1 free oyster if you sign up for the Oddle membership. Super worth it and it tasted amazing. A small downside was the coffee that was very average and probably from a machine. Don’t let this discourage you from eating here, but I hope Estuary can improve on this small flaw.

Found a hidden gem that serves delicious pescatarian dishes. The staff are friendly and give great recommendation especially about their seasonal dry aged fish which we highly recommend. It’s flavourful, buttery and melts in your mouth. We also enjoyed the halibut fish and chips that come with free flow fries and amazing tartar sauce. Other items we ordered that are just as tasty are the artichokes and fresh oysters plus the refreshing cocktails.

Very pleasant experience with Estuary seafood restaurant! We tried grilled cabbage, Jerusalem Artichoke, fish and chips, aged fish grilled with rosemary cheese, Caesar salad, sticky date pudding and all were awesome! Chef cum owner Polo is so passionate explaining dishes and we will go back when we are in Singapore ♥️

Although the location is a bit off the beaten path, it’s totally worth the trek. The food was amazing, with the fish and chips, lobster roll, and langoustine pasta being stand out. Probably the best fish and chips I’ve had in Singapore. Service was top notch. Staff were attentive and proactive. Good promotions encourage larger groups to explore the menu and share.

The moment you walked up the stairs, you are transported into this cosy, rustic and beautiful restaurant. Service is prompt and attentive. Food is delicious. Loved the cold water lobster linguine, in-bone ribeye and also the fish and chips. Of course not forgetting the wide varieties of fresh oysters. Dessert is exquisite too, do try the branded brioche suzette. Probably the only down side is the food was served almost together at the same time as we were still enjoying our oysters.
Jezel Yeo
Amazing service by Kader, attentive and informative from start to finish, we never waited longer than 2 minutes for anything and thoroughly impressed with the speed of service of the seasonal menu. Hyogo oysters were fresh and chef’s special selection oysters were definitely welcome. Absolutely adored the Hanwoo ribeye cooked to perfection and the most tender beef I have ever eaten. Fish and chips were so fresh and the fish was one of the meatiest fishes I’ve seen in a fish and chip. Definitely a place to celebrate something good and if not, celebrate how good this meal was.

Went here for iftar and arrived at 6:20 PM to find a long line of people waiting as well. We were seated around 6:45 PM, and the staff advised us to place our order via the QR code at 7 PM, which we did. We ordered two sets of halibut fish and chips—one with brown sauce and the other with curry sauce. Surprisingly, the food arrived quite early at 7:10 PM, but no complaints—better early than late! The fish was incredibly soft, and the batter was just right—not too hard or overcooked. The fries were thick and served alongside tartar sauce, mint peas, and the respective brown/curry sauce, all of which complemented each other well. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn’t swap the fries for another side, as I’m not a big fan of them personally. We also shared the longan milk, which had a mild and creamy taste. Overall, it was a good first-time experience—the service was smooth, and we left satisfied. While the prices are on the higher side, it’s worth trying once in a while.

Good quality food and portions. Halibut fish & chips and truffle mac & cheese were my family’s favourite choices. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Happy to come back for another meal.

We visited Battercatch for the first time and decided to break our fast there. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is well-organised and everything runs smoothly. At 6:45 PM, they started accommodating customers planning to break their fast, ensuring a seamless experience. The ordering system is convenient, everything is done via QR code and payment is made after the meal. Ordered food at 7.05 pm, it came 10 minutes after. Quite fast. A thoughtful touch was the kurma (dates) provided on our table for breaking fast, which we really appreciated. For our meal, we ordered the British Fish and Chips, selecting dory fish with homemade curry sauce (which had a comforting Japanese curry flavour). We also tried the Fried Cauliflower with Sriracha Mayo. It was our first time having fried cauliflower and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! The crispy texture paired well with the flavourful sauce. The fish and chips portion was generous, served with mint pea, tartar sauce and fries. The fish was perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and tender inside. Everything was well-seasoned, making for a satisfying meal. Overall, we had a great dining experience at Battercatch. The combination of good food, friendly service and a smooth dining process made our visit enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning to try other menu items! Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic British fish and chips with a unique twist.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! What an incredible evening at The Whistle. Massive shoutout to Kenny for being such an amazing host. Your hospitality and friendliness will never be forgotten. A breath of fresh air to receive the service we experienced tonight. In addition to Kenny’s top notch service service, the food was incredible! Highly recommend the bangers n mash and the fish and chips along with the platters! My husband also loved his smash burger! There wasn’t a single thing that we didn’t enjoy. I cannot wait to be back for another phenomenal experience! 10/10 for sure!!

Fantastic food. Fish and chips had amazing batter. Sausages (Bangers and Mash) were delicious as well. The fried mars bar was surprisingly great. Definitely worth a visit just for the food!
Brandon Wong
Fish and chips were wonderful! Perfect mix of batter and fish, unlike other places which are 80% batter 20% fish. Fries were soo nice and crispy too, and the The River IPA was great! I loved it and gave a 2 dollar tip, will be coming back!

Molly Malones was an amazing venue to host a private and quaint party. The Level 2 space was spacious yet cozy, perfectly blending Irish tradition with stylish interior design. We enjoyed the entertainment options like darts, a pool table, and even a beer pong setup, which added to the fun atmosphere. The buffet spread was impressive and freshly cooked by their resident chef, who has been with Molly Malone for over a decade. The apple crumble was a standout-fresh and delicious. Last but not least, the hosting staff, led by John, were fantastic-flexible, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring my guests and I had an awesome time. Best pork schnitzel I’ve had in Singapore! Sausages were cooked perfectly and the gravy and mashed potatoes were delicious. The white asparagus was an absolute delight! Enjoyed their seasonal beer (can’t remember the name) and their berry bliss gin cocktail. Service was great! The lady who took our order was a consummate professional! Great setting, with 3 floors. We just got back from England a week ago and I can’t get rid of my Fish and Chips craving. Went in for a meal and oh my word, it’s definitely authentic. The battered fish, the thick chips. Chef’s kiss 💋 We got the cod and haddock, both equally good though my preference would always be cod. I was so excited to see mushy peas on the menu too. I’ve seen some comments about “unseasoned” fish and allegedly soggy chips. This is actually exactly what British fish and chips is supposed to be. You need to give it a good splash of vinegar for flavour (yumz). Please educate yourself. If you want crispy fries, do yourself a favour and just go to a Mcdonalds drive thru please.
Catherine KY Lim
Mr Lawless ( boh cheng Hu) is a very friendly and nice bloke. The fish and chips …wow, the batter is really crispy with a generous helping of chips on the side. The Pot pie was also very nice. Dessert was a to die for apple crumble. You can taste the cinnamon and if I am not wrong brown sugar…. lovely. Will definitely come back to try the others. Cheers. Catherine.
