Without a doubt one of if not the best Grand seafood and turf buffets I have been to. They had an endless variety of seafood from lobster to mussels and sushi to prime rib. The service was impressive. The staff was constantly keeping my table clean and Pauline the Manager made it a point to introduce herself to everyone at their table to insure all was well. She was also a great conversationalists. All and all a 5+ star establishment.

Love the buffet at Estate! The service is amazing — super friendly and attentive. The place feels calm and relaxing, perfect for a nice chill meal. So many choices, I didn’t know where to start! Must try their satay, laksa, lobster, oysters, and the rojak (especially with guava, so refreshing!). Definitely coming back again!

Awesome restaurant with good quality food. Highlights were the Boston Lobster on ice, Boston Lobster Laksa, Lobster bisque, lamb chops, sushi, pancake station, and desserts in a chiller (not put out in the open like most buffets). Prawns were fresh and easily deshelled. Honkies prawn noodles and kueh pai tee were nice, a nod to include local flavours. There was a live band (awesome 90s songs) on a saturday night that added to the atmosphere. Will return again for the good quality food and dining experience.

Had a wonderful time enjoying the seafood buffet in Lime restaurant. We were seated by the floor to ceiling windows, and we could see the sunset then night view of the street. Good variety of local fare, western food, with some interesting items such as buah keluak roast duck, lobster laksa, and cute mini kueh pie tee. Special shout out to Kerin who provided top notch service at our table. She was friendly and attentive. Will be back again, soon.

Buffet spread was sumptuous! My favourites of the night – Pickering Lobster Laksa, Lobster Thermidor and Lobster Claw Parmesan Wheel Risotto! The lobster laksa was mind-blowing – so good that my friends and I had second servings! Couldn’t find the Lobster Claw Parmesan Wheel Risotto at first until the wait staff told us it’s near the cheese wheel. Whoa! And the risotto was right inside! Very flavourful! Special thanks to Kerin we had such a pleasant time! Very thoughtful and meticulous, she cleared our plates and refilled our drinks promptly! She noticed I was wearing white and offered me an apron just in case – how sweet! We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!

Located in the Ritz Carlton, I was welcomed by Rudy and his team for a Saturday night dinner. He gave me a quick rundown on the food areas. I then went and sampled all the various dishes on offer and was pleased by what I ate. It was delicious and the portions were on point. I spoke with the pastry chef when I finally got to the desserts. She was lovely and informative on the different treats on offer. Overall my favourite dishes were the sashimi seafood, the grilled lobster, tomahawk steak, cheeses on offer and finally the cheesecake. It was a very satisfying dining experience and will be back when I come back to Singapore. Total cost was SDG 142.50 includes the tax.

Very spacious layout. Even though a lot of people, the table space is good and not too near to another table. The food was fantastic and there were many choices to choose. The salmon were well cooked, the beef tender, the lobster in abundance. Even the pengat durian were very delicious. A number of cold and hot drinks available. Lots of desserts and fruits available. Sushi was very fast snapped up. Server were very attentive and friendly. There’s prayer room for muslim people located on 4th floor. It was very clean and spacious. Will go again next time.

Food quality is good despite variety not a lot, lobster and durian pengnat the key highlights. No sashimi thou. Service staff especially Doris is quick at clearing plates. Service staff also provide extra serviettes on their own without the need to ask for it.

Enjoy their 1 for 1 Seafood dinner on a Sunday, especially their different variety of lobster dishes! What makes our dining experience more memorable was the amazing service by Ms Serena Chow, she was very kind & would recommend us the “must-try” dishes from the restaurant. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻

Good range of seafood buffet choices including lobster claw, snow crab legs and oysters. The cooked food menu includes risotto, chicken rice and laksa. Decent value for money if you get the 50% off second diner dbs promo. But food wise, may not be the best compared to the top tier hotels.

~Christmas buffet at Beach Road Kitchen~ Snow crab legs and claws, Japan oysters, lobsters, clams and mussels … here you find all the delicious seafood ever crave for 😝 The grill station is another highlight that you can’t miss, and the choice of dessert is amazing. Very happy with the Christmas buffet, will be back soon for weekend buffet 👍

Diana Toh
One of the Best Buffets in Singapore! We indulged in several rounds of seafood — fresh lobster, oysters, snow crab, sashimi, and more — before moving on to the hot savouries. Among the hot dishes, our favourites were the grilled Korean BBQ pork belly, live-grilled prawns, garlic butter scallops, and the roasted lamb leg — all packed with flavour and grilled to perfection. The dessert section was an absolute highlight. The Apple Petit Gateau, Mini Cappuccino Mousse, Durian Cake, and Earl Grey Panna Cotta were heavenly — beautifully presented, not overly sweet, and utterly irresistible. The pastries were so good that my friend couldn’t resist going back for seconds! With such an abundance of dishes, we couldn’t try everything in one visit — but that just gives us the perfect reason to return. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The ambience was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall dining experience. I highly recommend Beach Road Kitchen to anyone looking for exceptional food, incredible variety, and top-notch service!

Mervyn Phea
Singapore’s BEST buffet hotel restaurant. The newly renovated restaurant replaces Meltz but the quality remains at the very best standard. The restaurant is now a greenish leafy theme with nicely spaced seating. The reception that greeted us was top notch and aware of our reservation and occasion. Depending on the season but the typical signatures like roost beef, fresh seafood including Boston lobster, hot soup and bread & butter pudding are all present. Special mention is the world class mash potatoes probably the best in Singapore ever present. If you come on a Friday or Saturday dinner this includes the BBQ section for additional meats like wagyu beef, king prawn. Our plates gets cleared quickly and staff were always checking in for assistance. Excellent!

Shirley “MuseFaery” NKL
Excellent food, service and ambience. The seafood, like Boston lobster claws, freshly shucked oysters, mud crabs, tiger prawns, green-lipped mussels, etc were fresh and plentiful indeed a Seafood Colosseum. We were happily enjoying ourselves that the few photos here do not do full justice to its food offerings. On the night that we were there the restaurant was also having a Thai food fest. It was a perfect combination as the spicy white clams were so yummy. We stayed until the very end and left at the last moment. A perfect place for us to catch-up with close buddies and a definite must go restaurant if seafood is your forte.

Richard Lau
Very very nice Halal hotel food buffet with international menu! Love their wide varieties of food selection, includes western, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, etc. Personally I love their local food choices, such as Signature Singapore Chicken rice, and also their nasi briyani! The free flow of lobsters are very delicious too. With such a good quality for a buffet, really worth every single money spent. The environment around is very good too, nice to have a corporate meeting lunch here.

William Lu
It looked big from outside but there wasn’t many stations. Food options are a lot. Love the snow crabs and lobsters. There was durian paste there as well. Sushi was fresh as well. Reservation recommended. It was full then we ate here Thursday night.

Fhaye Tomas
The dinner buffet was amazing. The first time we ate here was one year ago but our experience is just as consistent. They had a very good food selection, seafood and japanese sections are very premium (consisting of high quality imported lobsters, snow crabs, and shrimps). The sushi are as fresh as you can imagine and they also offer ebi tempura. I’m glad they also serve the local hainanese chicken rice and seafood noodle soups. Our friends specifically liked their Indian selection. I also loved their salad and desserts!

Awesome Ness
The Line at Shangri-La truly lives up to its name — a huge spread of international buffet delights that will satisfy every craving! The kong ba bao is a must-try — the meat is so soft it melts in your mouth, absolutely yummylicious. The marbled wagyu beef is tender and flavorful, while the mussels, sea clams, and prawns are incredibly fresh and huge. Don’t miss the desserts — red bean mochi and ondeh ondeh that burst with rich gula melaka syrup. The roasted duck stands out too, with crispy skin and juicy meat.

Elizabeth Cheong
Super worth it buffet this Sept 2025 with a 1 for 1 discount. Remember to book in advance to get seats! There was a large variety of foods and all dishes were generally quite good. Sashimi was fresh, especially the akaebi which usually turns fishy easily. Loved the seafood items as well and they were very generous, topping up the good stuff for every dish really fast. The double boiled soup is a must try as there was even mini abalone within the seemingly simple radish and pork rib soup. Despite being so full, we got seconds for the soup. The desserts are also a must try and they even have a Nutella dispenser. Staff were well trained and cleared plates fast. Definitely worth eating at least once in your life, especially when it’s discounted!

TheGirlCo’s Recommendation

Choosing just one place can feel impossible, with every spot having its own kind of magic. Here are our top picks to help you decide based on your mood, budget, and what you and your girls love most.

1. If you’re looking for the widest and most indulgent lobster experience

Our pick: Estate

Estate stands out for one simple reason: it offers the most comprehensive lobster experience under one roof. Across its different buffet themes, you get lobster prepared in multiple styles—from comforting local favourites like lobster laksa to rich Western classics like lobster thermidor and bold Asian flavours such as Kam Heong lobster. Add unlimited lobster during its signature brunch and premium pairings like Wagyu and champagne, and Estate becomes the clear choice for girls who want to try everything, not just one style of lobster.

2. If you want local flavours with a fun, lively vibe

Our pick: Lime Restaurant

Lime Restaurant wins for groups that want bold, familiar flavours served in a vibrant setting. From lobster laksa and har gao to bisque and classic Boston lobster, the menu blends comfort and indulgence effortlessly. The upbeat ambience, city views, and generous seafood spread make it perfect for laughter-filled dinners, big announcements, and casual celebrations that still feel like a treat.

3. If you want a calm, serene space with heartfelt flavours:

Our pick: Embu

Embu feels like a sanctuary — perfect for quieter girls’ nights when you want to relax, reconnect, and enjoy slow, meaningful conversation. The nature-inspired décor is soothing, and the diverse lobster offerings allow you to enjoy the richness without feeling overwhelmed. Their rotating stations and festive specials make each visit feel special. Choose Embu if your group loves a softer, more soulful dining experience.

4. For inclusive girl groups where everyone feels comfortable

Our pick: J65

J65 is our go-to recommendation for mixed girl groups because it removes guesswork around inclusivity without sacrificing indulgence. Its halal-certified buffet means everyone at the table can dine freely, while lobster is available daily across festive buffet options rather than limited to specific days. Add in familiar, crowd-pleasing flavours like chili crab–style Norway lobster and a spacious, relaxed layout, and J65 becomes the dependable choice when you want great food and an easy, stress-free gathering.

Final Thoughts

Girls’ nights out deserve to feel special, indulgent, and full of moments worth remembering — and nothing delivers that better than a lobster buffet experience shared with your favourite women. From extravagant hotel brunches to vibrant thematic spreads, each of these restaurants brings its own charm, flavour, and feminine appeal. Whether you want luxurious champagne brunch vibes, lively photo-worthy spaces, or intimate sanctuary-like dining, there’s a buffet here that fits your mood perfectly.

If you’re celebrating a birthday, planning a holiday gathering, or simply craving a fabulous night with your girls, these lobster buffets promise unforgettable memories, full bellies, and lots of happy photos. And if you’d rather enjoy a decadent feast at home, consider exploring the best buffet catering in Singapore — perfect for bringing the celebration straight to your doorstep and keeping the good vibes going all night long.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

A good quality lobster or seafood buffet in Singapore generally starts from around $90++ per adult for dinner. Prices can rise to $130++ or more for premium spreads, especially on weekends, festive seasons, or special occasions like Christmas and Lunar New Year. Higher-end buffets often include free-flow champagne, wine, or premium seafood items such as king crab legs and freshly shucked oysters. Lunch buffets are usually more affordable, ranging from $70–$90++, making them a popular choice for those seeking value.

Most buffets pride themselves on offering lobster in multiple cooking styles to cater to diverse tastes. You’ll often find:

  • Chilled lobster on ice – perfect for seafood purists.
  • Grilled lobster – smoky and slightly charred for a robust flavor.
  • Baked lobster with cheese or thermidor sauce – rich, creamy, and indulgent.
  • Local-style lobster dishes – claws or tails cooked in Singaporean favorites like laksa broth, chilli crab sauce, or black pepper glaze.

This variety ensures diners can enjoy lobster in both traditional Western and Asian preparations.

The Boston lobster (also known as Maine lobster) is the most common, prized for its sweet, firm flesh. Some buffets also feature:

  • Rock lobsters (spiny lobsters) – smaller, with a slightly different texture.
  • Seasonal varieties – depending on supply, buffets may occasionally offer slipper lobsters or other regional species.

The choice often depends on the buffet’s theme, supplier availability, and whether the spread emphasizes international seafood or local flavors.

To maximize value:

  • Look out for credit card promotions – many hotels partner with banks to offer 1-for-1 deals or 30–50% discounts.
  • Opt for weekday lunches – usually cheaper than dinner or weekend sessions.
  • Check the menu spread – ensure the buffet includes lobster styles you enjoy most, plus other premium seafood.
  • Seasonal promotions – festive buffets may cost more but often include rare items like Alaskan king crab or uni (sea urchin).

Reservations are highly recommended, especially for:

  • Dinner sessions
  • Weekends and public holidays
  • Festive periods (Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year)
Walk-ins are possible during off-peak hours, but lobster buffets are popular and often fully booked. Booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance is advised to secure your preferred time slot.

Yes, reputable buffets ensure lobster is free-flow and replenished regularly. However:

  • Peak dining times may see short waits at popular stations like the chilled seafood counter.
  • Premium items (e.g., lobster thermidor or grilled lobster tails) may be served in smaller batches to maintain freshness.

It’s best to arrive early in your dining slot to enjoy the widest selection.

Many major hotel buffets in Singapore are either Halal-certified or offer extensive vegetarian and non-seafood options. Expect:

  • International dishes like pasta, salads, and curries.
  • Vegetarian-friendly sections with fresh greens, soups, and cooked vegetables.
  • Dessert spreads featuring cakes, pastries, and tropical fruits.

Always check directly with the restaurant for Halal certification or specific dietary accommodations.

Beyond lobster, premium buffets usually feature:

  • Fresh oysters (often shucked to order).
  • Snow crab or king crab legs.
  • Tiger prawns or giant river prawns.
  • Mussels and scallops.
  • Japanese sashimi – salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and sometimes rarer cuts like octopus or swordfish.

These items complement the lobster and elevate the buffet into a luxury seafood experience.

Presentation varies:

  • Chilled lobster – typically served in halves or quarters for easy portioning.
  • Cooked dishes – claws, tails, or smaller chunks integrated into recipes.
  • Grilled or baked lobster – often served as halves or tails.

Whole lobsters are rarely served individually, as buffets aim to provide manageable portions for multiple diners.

Yes, most buffets enforce a time limit of 90 minutes to 2 hours, especially during:

  • Dinner sessions
  • Weekends and public holidays
This ensures smooth table turnover and fair access for all guests. Always confirm the dining duration when booking, as some premium buffets may allow longer sessions or offer extended hours during festive periods.
