Did my first handbuilding. Hanisah is so nice, friendly and helpful! She thought us from the basic all the up on how to make a cute figurines💜

Daphane Yeo
It was my birthday gift from my friends to do this workshop, thus I’m not sure about the rate. We all had a fun time. Most of the time I was judging my art work. Many times the instructor had to help me, cos I destroy my own work. This workshop is really interesting and I can’t wait for my outcome.

Highly recommend Studio Asobi if you are looking to try your hands on pottery! Attended the handbuilding session conducted by Huiwen. She is so patient and encouraging. Also enjoyed the chat while we handbuilt. It’s a nice intimate home studio that is unlike a typical pottery studio, so it puts you at ease especially if it’s your first time. Both Kenneth and Huiwen are passionate about their craft and you can feel their sincerity in teaching.

Sheena Lin
Kenneth and Huiwen are such a lovely and talented couple! We went for “The Potter’s House” spiritual retreat and our souls were absolutely refreshed! They made us feel very comfortable throughout and were very generous with their time! It was especially eye-opening for us when they drew out so many lessons from The Potter and the clay! Felt like our perspective towards life was refreshed and renewed after the retreat! They are very knowledgeable and sincere in the way that they teach. This isn’t our first time at Studio Asobi and we would definitely come back again! 🙂

Rachel Lim
A very nice and comfortable home studio – love how they use their space. Hui Wen was very willing to share her experience and her own pottery journey. She is also patient and gives each student attention and guidance. We had a lovely and relaxing time at Studio Asobi 💕

Fun weekend morning trying out the pottery-on-the-wheel session! The studio’s situated in a nice, serene and unique location that’s away from the buzz of the city. Teachers were patient and helpful 🙂 Excited to see the pieces after they are glazed!

Aishah Hamza
Thanks Lie Gian and Xuan for being so incredibly patient with a bunch of noobs 🙏🏽 Appreciated the lesson and the pace was good 👍🏽 10/10 Recommend.

Chelsea Cheng
Super stoked to have received my pieces from TPG earlier. Had a great company team bonding session at TPG a couple of weeks back and would highly recommend them! The instructors/ ceramicists were highly skilled, friendly and patient in guiding us along. Thought it was really professional that they took the time to explain the more technical aspects of the craft with us too – I.e. nature of the clay, how to apply pressure onto the clay at certain angles or an appropriate amount etc. Was a short session but takeaways aplenty! Highly recommended 🙂

This is like walking through a casual, free entry museum and I can also shop for the exhibits which I like! (I see the porcelain pillows I like!) Also planning to get 老Boy to sign up for pottery lessons with me soon! We are very hands-on people ! Highly recommend a visit to Thow Kwang Pottery! Fantastic location for beautiful pottery. Prices are a little steep so maybe go with a local if you want to negotiate. The objects are all authentic handmade and beautiful. The location is quite out of the city and the road from the local bus stop was confusing. A great spot for pottery lovers and the staff are friendly and let you have peace to browse through the collections.
