I used to live in Korea for 6 years. So I’m quite picky when it comes to finding legit Korean food with a reasonable price. I really liked this place and I was also happy to speak in Korean with the staff as well. I was so excited that I only remembered to take photos of the chicken and the banchan. I recently dined at BBQ Friend after reading the good reviews, and realising it was close to my work place. Was thoroughly impressed. The staff were friendly and attentive. The highlight of the meal was the BBQ itself – the meats were cooked to perfection and the marinades were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Set C. The side dishes were also a highlight, especially with the new duck meat side dish (introduced after CNY). The kimchi was good as well.

Was heading to 90 minutes when wife spotted this restaurant along the way. It was empty then and we were hungry. She looked into the review and was surprised to see it so high! We turned in, got a seat, and soon enough, it turned pack with reservations.
Keeping it short, best kimchi I ever tasted in Singapore. The BBQ quickly took away my favourite KBBQ spot away from Tanjong Pagar. Truly a gem and clearly, not so hidden anymore.

Resides in really good location. This Korean bbq restaurant will be added to my top 3 favourite Korean restaurant for a good meal. Usually when you see them serving thick cut of meat, it’s like geeez… tough to bite and whatsoever you may think of. But definitely not the thick cuts from this restaurant. In fact, it surprised me. The meat were succulent, tender and definitely tasty! The staff will grill for you which is something I like. Highly recommended!
