We visited during the evening and had some of the best satays ever! The whole place was bustling with locals and tourist and had a great variety of food choices. The hall is not air conditioned but had high ceilings so it was not stuffy when we were there. Would definitely visit again to try all the food they have to offer!

Went here on a food tour in Singapore and I loved every minute of it. The architecture is gorgeous, the location is amazing, and the selection of food is fabulous. I was very impressed with everything. If I go back to Singapore, I will go back because I wanted to see more of what some of the stalls were offering. Still, I would absolutely go again. Such a fun atmosphere!

This place has got vibes. I was in Singapore with my family for 6 nights and we ate here almost everyday. We are Indians and we found so many veg and non veg indian food options here. I tried different food other than Indian and my family and I loved the food quality. Place is clean. People were nice and discipline was followed. It looks even more beautiful in the evening.

One of our favourite hawker centres! So many amazing options, the chicken rice is some of the best we’ve had anywhere. The char siu is also a must. Highly recommend for more than one meal in Singapore!

After a super long day, we came here to eat and relax. It’s a really cute place! Super clean. It’s almost like a restaurant with a lot of stores. You order your food and they’ll bring it to your table or you can pick it up. We had a ton of food however my relative who’s a local ordered everything so I’m not sure where they got it and what it is but everything was delicious! Such a nice place to have a food trip. Great portions, tasty food and affordable. LOVED the satay chicken with the peanut dip. Absolutely delicious. And I also tried sugar cane drink for the first time with lime/lemon. I recommend getting it! However, not sure if it’s 24/7. Maybe some vendors are open 24/7 but not every. We left at around 12 and only a few stalls were open.

As a local, I was initially not very impressed with the list of stalls when I checked it out prior to my visit. However, I had to change my opinion after trying out the food. Most of the dishes we tried were delicious, and above-average. It is a nice place to bring friends from overseas to try local food. The place is clean and relatively comfortable compared to other hawker centres in Singapore. The view is awesome.
Nana K
I really enjoyed chili crab and cereal shrimp at Jumbo Seafood the other day, but it was a little expensive, so I was wondering if I could eat it again. I came across this place by chance. I visited a little after 5 p.m., and it was easy to get a seat. I had pepper crab and cereal shrimp fried rice, and it was over 80 Singapore dollars. It’s the best value for money! After eating crab here, come straight to the river to see Marina Bay and eat açaí ball!
Princess
Still a place I would go and eat for seafood. Price is reasonable.

Zoe Leclerc
This place is a gem. There are a lot of choices of food and they’re all quite cheap with good quality. This place is a must do while visiting Singapore. I liked how active and noisy it was. Everything felt spontaneous.
Jamie Lim
This hawker centre has many good stalls selling nice food but some are located in obscure corners resulting in low foot traffic. We chanced upon Grandma’s Taste selling Ipoh Claypot dishes and decided to try their signature pork trotters with black vinegar ($7.80) and eggplant with salted fish & minced meat ($5.80). We add-on $1 for a mini salad and a full bowl of rice. The pig trotters has thick undiluted vinegar sauce and it goes very well with rice. The eggplants are also nice but I find the dish a bit salty. When we gave feedback to the Chef, he said that he used to cut down on the salt to suit our local palate but his Malaysian customers complained that since it is Ipoh Claypot, then it should stick to the original taste. Since each dish is cooked individually, you can request for less salt. Meal for 2 persons $14.60. Very affordable.
We went today to try pork belly with salted fish (requested for less rice) and fried hokkien mee from You Fu (we saw the Chef eating this on our last visit). Hokkien mee has wok hei and is nice. We had an enjoyable lunch and will definitely go back again to try their chicken curry claypot.

Chinatown Complex has a long history behind it. It’s now the focal point for MyCommunity heritage tours. Love the commaraderie amongst the shopkeepers and regular customers. Great to talk to them and listen to their stories. Sadly, many of the shopkeepers are getting old and there are no heirs to their trades. Chinatown Complex hosts a large plethora of businesses ranging from a wet market in the basement, to all kinds of trades (bags, shoes, clothes, jades, electronics, souvenirs, repair shops, undergarments, etc) on the first floor, yo the famous food centre on the second floor. There is local desserts, zi char, roasted meat, soy sauce chicken like Hawker Chan’s, Pasta, dumplings, pig trotter vinegar, butterfly buns, goreng pisang, Chee Cheong fun, steamed fishhead in black bean sauce, yam cake and bee hoon, steamed chicken rice, chwee kway, popiah, herbal soups, lor mee, vegetarian fare, fried kway teow, cabotnese porridge, fried carrot cake, braised duck, roasted meat, Cantonese desserts like almond paste and sesame paste, beancurd pudding, sugar cane, fresh fruits, nasi padang, glutinous rice, and the list keeps going on and on.
The food centre is perpetually crowded and the lines for certain stalls are always snaking. The atmosphere is usually vibrant but it’s not always too clean. The food prices are affordable and the taste is authentic. It’s still always worth a visit, and to support local hawker stalls, even if finding a seat might be difficult at peak periods.

K Tan
One of the most popular lunch place for office and white collar professionals in the CBD area. Everything you yearn for in local food is here and more. Cheap and delicious. Few Michelin Gourmand recommended stall. Most stalls open on Weekdays only and place is always crowded. There is not much choices after 2pm. Any stalls with long queue cannot go wrong. Go early if possible or else hard to get a seat.
Kat Darling
One of my fave hawkers aside from East Coast lagoon. Very high ceilings, a lot of yummy eats and very clean bathrooms. I arrived at 12:30 pm on a Saturday, queues aren’t long at all! A noodles story is a must and the duck rice! The place has a “loft” type of area where more tables are and that’s where the murals of art are. Will definitely come back to try teowchew fishball noodles and the curry puff next!
cheezo
Great food courts and clean tables. The butter kaya toast on the second floor was nice and the won ton mee was good too.

I was surprised that Ion Orchard had a food court at Basement 4. It’s not really big but a lot of cuisines to choose from. We can find a seat easily maybe because it’s on weekdays. The foods are great, I ordered a set of meal in Japanese stall for $12.50 only (noodles and takoyaki). I ordered also thai food (mango salad and spring rolls) but forgot the price 🙈 and it’s really nice.
Alex Gedala
Tons of stalls and food styles to choose from. Air conditioned environment, very clean tables and enough room to accommodate a number of groups or parties. We didn’t find a problem finding a table. Can’t go wrong with food in Singapore, you can never not get good food in Singapore and for any cuisine. Ended up trying a vegetarian meal as I was hanging out with a vegetarian friend. No problem at all. Definitely recommend this place if you are in this area.

Delicious ayam penyet @ basement Suntec City, Food Republic. Big portion of their smash bbq chicken and rice smothered with very fragrant coconutty curry sauce. Together with their special green chilli condiment, it is just perfect. Friendly stall assistant and they are generous with their chilli, sambal. Serve with bowl of soup. Must try. 9/10

Wow! A must visit hidden gem in Singapore! Clay pot chicken curry was the tastiest soul food ever! Great vibe with food and also vegetable market.
My Way
Very cordial and neighbourliness Redhill Market & Hawker Center. About 80 foods varieties to choose for one‘s breakfast for the morning is indeed a foods heaven. Price of each varieties of foods is reasonably fair. For example,a bowl of freshly home made fishball kueh tiew soup cost only S$3.50 is indeed economical.
