Went for dad’s bday celebration at Xin cuisine. Great service from the team. Our favorites were the smoked roast duck for sure, must try! And the vegetarian sweet and sour pork with lychee pops! The restaurant very sweetly gave my dad complimentary longevity peach buns which tasted great too! From push and jann. 🙂

I dined at Xin Cuisine recently, the Cantonese restaurant at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant itself was luxurious, and the service was attentive throughout the night. The food was truly the star of the show. I tried their signature Homestyle Roast Duck with Tea Leaves, and it lived up to the hype. The duck was cooked perfectly – crispy skin gave way to incredibly tender meat, and the tea leaves added a unique flavor. It was definitely one of the best roast ducks I’ve ever had. But the roast duck wasn’t the only highlight. Their roast pork was equally delicious, with a perfect balance of crispy crackling and flavorful meat. The steamed fish was another winner – incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. For a truly decadent experience, I highly recommend trying their Iwate Wagyu Beef. The melt-in-your-mouth tenderness of the wagyu beef, sourced from Iwate Prefecture in Japan, was incredible. It was perfectly pan-fried and complemented by a trio of delicious dips – black peppercorn sauce, béarnaise sauce, and truffle salt. Xin Cuisine is on the pricier side, but the quality of the food and service justifies the cost. If you’re looking for a special occasion restaurant or simply want to experience some truly delicious Cantonese cuisine, I highly recommend Xin Cuisine.

This was my first visit and I totally love it!! Me and my friends came for the year-end package i.e. 6-course dinner with a performance! It’s a really value-for-money package as the food was marvelicious, the service was good, accompanied with a stunning performance! Didn’t take photos for all the dishes as we were admiring the plating as well as busy devouring the dishes… LOL It’s so beautiful and super yummy!! We love the Drunken Chicken SO MUCH that we ordered another a-la-carte so that we could have more!! Haha! Everything was amazing too! We were very well taken care of by the staff and manager! All of them were so friendly and nice. ❤️🙏 If you love Cantonese cuisine, this is the place you MUST visit. Yah… Looking forward to visit them again during CNY! Keep up the good work!

Very rich atmosphere of Shanghai in the 1930s, love the live band playing Mandarin oldies too! Great atmosphere, service can be kinda lacking at times (hard to catch attention of service staff) but overall was a good dining experience!
Jiak Papa
Love their suckling pig and had been a regular here. Their service staff are really attentive and friendly. Manager are also flexible and knowledgeable to recommend their signature dishes to us, never felt being push to over order. Live singing is entertaining for the new comers but not for the regular. Highly recommended.

Quality food and great service. Wan Hao signature roast chicken is really good… it’s a must try if you are dining in. The service is amazing as well. Their staff are very attentive. Also, the atmosphere is great.

The food and service here is remarkable, although it is extremely hard to get a table it is worth it. Located inside the Marriott hotel, it has a peaceful and quiet atmosphere perfect for family gatherings or important business meals. I would highly recommend their signature crispy chicken, no other restaurant can compete with this dish. A wide range of tea, dishes and desserts available here, there is surely something that is satisfactory for your taste buds. This time I ordered the CNY Peng Cai to share at home, it arrived in perfect condition. Overall prices here are on the higher end, the taste and flavour makes up for it, I would highly suggest you to visit should you have the chance.
Tan Christine
We celebrated our dad’s 80th bday at Wan Hao and everyone is singing praises of the food and service. All the dishes were exquisite, full of umami flavors. The presentation of food was also aesthetically pleasing. We want to especially give a shoutout to Victor who is our service manager. He was very prompt to all our requests, and serve us with such warm hospitality. We will definitely recommend this restaurant!

A Lin
Ideal venue for family or social dinner. The service is good and the food is flavourful. Been here a few times, the taste is consistent. Love the herbal tea and nourishing soup. Most dishes are packed with nutritional value. Some of the must try are the fresh scallops glazed with special sauce, egg white crab meat, spring onion pancake and soup. For dessert, the tuber-honey (fried sweet potatoes & yam with honey) dip in ice-water is interesting and tasty. They have private rooms! Will return.
Yen
The two dishes they do very well are the 玉参芙蓉千贝 (steamed egg) and 餬跳墙 (Buddha jump over the wall). The latter was a whole meal in itself, chock full of protein, and tasty af. Their set dinners are reasonable and value for money too, which is what every local looks for in a meal. The setting, relaxed and unpretentious, a good chill place to celebrate a birthday where our’s was probably the youngest table. You know a place is comfortable and tasty when the older folk congregate there. And when i say that the service was delightful, i mean that they were fast and earnest, hand gestures and all. If you’ve got a big group and are not looking for fancy, this is a more than serviceable option.

Has lunch with family over a weekend – ordered prawn fried rice, cereal prawns, pumpkin prawns, scallop with chef special sauce, fluffy egg white with dried scallop and fried long beans. The food is definitely 5 stars – tasty and flavorful. Service is good. Ambience is nice too – very interesting set up. Will return for more.

Soooooo good! First, the location. Excellent, next to or near to Buona Vista mrt. Cross the road(underpass) and take escalator or lift to the 2nd floor of the building. If you drive, there’s car park space at the building but no complementary car park. Service and reservation: easy and helpful. Service person was polite, helpful and efficient. There’s currently 2hr seating timing so need to select your choice accordingly. Weekend opens at 5pm for dinner, vs weekday nights open at 5.30pm. Take note the Google info wasn’t updated. The service personnel were all very helpful, accomodating and nice. Food: so yummy! We had very nice presentation of the dishes. Wow by some of them. Really cool. Not sure if it’s because we were celebrating birthday but overall the presentation of the dishes were wonderful, beautiful and most importantly all very yummy. The beef cubes, sweet & sour pork, prawn wasabi, Carrot cake, brocoli with crab meat& tofu, kailan, fried rice and the longevity 🍑 buns 寿桃 …. all yummy! Price wise, might be a little pricy. Other than that, it’s a very nice restaurant branch to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

The wuchang rice was definitely the star of the meal for me. Super fragrant, plus you can see it prepared right before you. Can’t go wrong with all the dishes too, everything goes well with the rice. The whole vibe and atmosphere was clean with delicately prepared Hunan cuisine, topped with great service. 😋

Fantastic experience overall! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent – quick and attentive. Visiting on a weekday night meant avoiding long queues and enjoying a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable seating. The fried rice had that irresistible ‘Wok Hey’ flavor and aroma I adore, while the pickle fish offered a generous portion without being overly oily. Although the spicy chicken wasn’t the absolute best I’ve had, it was still enjoyable. Can’t wait to return!
Black Raven
Always notice a long queue here so I decided to try it, and the food was amazing! The vegetable (Romaine) was crunchy. Antler Mushroom and Chicken were soaked in tasty sauce. Fish and pickled vegetable were delicious with the least chilli level (already quite spicy to me). Portion was generous so bring containers to pack where necessary!

Highly recommended by my friends back home, I would say Xiao Ya Tou’s food is damn astonishing, cocktails are damn astounding and cheapest amongst all the cocktail bars in Duxton. Service were damn awesome!! And their music !!!!! so dope!!! One of the best restaurant I have been in Singapore and I visited them twice in a short trip. Great job guys. Typing these and missing your Brussel sprouts already. 🤤

Singapore is a place of many amazing restaurants and food stalls but this one we particularly loved. The freshed up 90s music, the decor, the bubbly owner, and if course the FOOD! We had the soy butter prawns and were blown away, also the Wagyu with rice was absolutely beautiful. Great cocktails and atmosphere so the more up market prices were also bringing a plus in experience. Loved it and somehow am glad we only discovered this on our last night… We might have spent every mealtime there.

It’s a local fusion food place that made Singaporean tastes buds proud. Prices that are also more reasonable based on the quality and taste. It’s local fare but with a twist and a modern one. Glad to have found this place via google maps reviews! They do not take reservations via phone. Hence during weekends or peak hours do be prepared to queue.
Laine Lui
1 Seafood Cheese Beehoon with 2 fresh scallops, 3 larger-than-life prawns, 4 bouncy meatballs. Soup was ok, though had expected it to be better. The cheesiness somehow overpowered the seafood taste, but yet, the cheesiness wasn’t strong. So it was neither here nor there, but still ok. Tuckshop rice is a must-have and will make it a satisfied meal with a main! Drink was also not bad — honey lemon tasted like real honey & lemon, not artificially flavoured. Veg dish was tasty and also reasonably priced, as compared to those elsewhere.

Glad that it wasn’t too packed on Sunday afternoon , for our late lunch. Portions are just right , average within SGD 20 nett per pax , total 4 adults . Food tastes great.

One of the best dinners I have ever had! This is Chinese cuisine prepared with class and elegance! We ordered the fish maw soup and the fish cartilage soup, the frog legs, the baked crab, and the awesome Angus beef! The whole combination came together so nicely, not because we planned it but it was with guidance and good advice by the impeccable service of our server Mr Harold! He was attentive and he was mindful to listen to our preferred palate! We took his recommendation of tea choice chrysanthemum which went so well with our meal. We had the almond cream and snow pear dessert which concluded our eating experience with a bang!! Summer Palace, You outdid yourself today and truly Michelin Star deserving!!

The braised crab meat with crab roe with prawn, baby vegetables was hands down one of my favourite dishes. Dishes are generally tasty, albeit the Duroc pork is a bit too sweet for our liking. Chin Chin, Sam and Jospeh were friendly and attentive. Standards of servers here are consistent and makes for a pleasant experience!
